A good old forum for aviation is airliners.net. Many posters there belong to the industry.
Chatter there says this was an attempted landing that should have been a go-around. Pilots landed with too little runway to stop.

yeh the video i saw, pilot didnt have the plane leveled on the runway and it was still a couple of feet above runway, at that point should've triggered a immediate TOGA and come around for a better approach........

Seems he was not in a controlled landing. Too high and too fast? Reminds me again of what happened with the A320 of PIA in Karachi few yrs ago......(factors different but end result is a mess)

BTW, avherald also posts such news daily......a good source of speculative news too, many pilots on there too.
