Well the woman did claim to be feeding Jinn to foreign journos so who knows if she was actually manipulating a deeply superstitious IK with information.

The Establishment will try to limit collateral damage by protecting Bajwa, as he was ex COAS. That would mean future retired COAS may be fair game.

Also, don’t discount the fact that there may be a tussle between ISI and army. These 2 institutions have become so powerful with no oversight, hence now they are turning against each other.

If one reads the ISPR presser carefully, Faiz is convicted of extortion and robbery in Top City case (2017) and engaging in political activities post retirement (not during his tenure, to limit damage radius).

Fair to say, its not only the civilian institutions that have gone Lumber 1 but our own esteemed institution is suffering from a chronic infection for a long while.

If proper enquiry is done, Faiz, Bajwa and the entire Corp Commanders would have been involved knee deep in political activities.

From playing politicians, blackmailing judges, apprehending political activists, killing journalists, committing gross human rights violations, colluding with traitors to lobby US government and participating in government changes.

Open and shut case of treason, if you ask me.

Imran Khan isn’t a little toddler to be manipulated by the superstitious stories of Jinns lol 😂
 
Since civilian courts are not completely controllable by military, they are taking the military court route, hafiz and nadeem are bent on destroying Pakistan even it includes tarnishing its own army
 
In my opinion, it’s also a tussle between ISI and Army.

To suggest ISI will bend over and allow its ex DG ISI to face the wrath will be too much.

Or will the ISI mess with the military court judges? Would be a classic own goal.

But, to my best guess, this is just a WWF match, where Faiz will get a slap on the wrist (Top City 2017 drama), but more importantly they will try to get him to speak against Imran Khan and PTI.

Taking a high level perspective, the PDMers are quite vocal about Faiz arrest mentioning this is the end of PTI, IK. Statements from Khawaja Asif, Tarrar others.

While PTI and IK are comparatively quiet and mentioned that this is army’s internal issue.

Is something else cooking more than meets the eye?

Depends on what and how much has exchanged hands at London plan agreement and what US wants.
Someone once asked a very experienced politician in Pakistan about the future of Pakistan and he advised to ask the US about the future of Pakistan .

He has been running around from spiritual guide to spiritual guide so you never know.

You assume him to be this infallible individual when he is actually a very flawed man - unfortunately, the slightly better flawed man in a sea of seriously horrible options available(or rather resigned to) for Pakistanis
