BREAKING NEWS: Erdogan raises Kashmir issue at UNGA; calls for resolution as per UN resolutions

Sorry my Indian guest, United Nations does not see Kashmir as an integral part of India.
United Nations see Kashmir as disputed territory.

Hence Kashmiris are not Indian.

UN did not see East Pakistan as disputed territory, yet they are an independent nation now.

So it does not matter what United nations sees or not sees.

It matters on how strong you are in holding what you see as rightfully your's.

Thats because the East Pakistanis wanted independence, after we messed up there.

Going with your flawed logic same can be said about Pakistan not wanting to remain with Republic of India during partition.

There are no United Nations resolution on East Pakistan. Besides that was a civil war.

That is a completely different story. Kashmir is a territorial dispute.

You cannot compare apples with oranges or pineapples.

Is it flawed ?

We were weak back then and occupied by a foreign nation that is why Pakistan was allowed to secede . Similarly with Bangladesh and Pakistan

Did US allow its Southern state to secede back in 1860s ?

There is no right or wrong in this world, it is only how powerful you are and what you can do with that power, decides what is right and what is wrong.

If a non disputed territory can become an independent nation with in short span of 7 months(i.e Bangladesh), where as supposedly a UN designated disputed territory is still not independent even after 80 years, just shows, what exactly a UN designation worth.

Again flawed logic.

Thats because East Pakistanis wanted independence from Pakistan.

But the Kashmiris want independence from India. India is holding its position in Indian occupied Kashmir by force.

Thats why Pakistan has a valid claim on Kashmir.

Anyways plebiscite is the only solution to the Kashmir dispute.

Might is not Right.

Still Pakistan can win diplomatically.

Pakistan still has other Muslim countries to back it up, China, United Nations, and OIC.

So this fight for Kashmir is far from over. Like I said if it lasts 1000 years so be it.

In 1860s, 11 confederate US states wanted to break away from 20 Union states and form their own country and they had every right to it, as US was founded as confederation with each state agreeing to become part of the union of their own accord, as such had the right to withdraw from the union.

20 Union states fought against the armies of 11 confederate states for 4 years, about Seven hundred thousands soldiers lost their lives in that war, but the US was not allowed to break and soon rose as the most powerful nation in the world

So in the end it does not matter who is right or who is wrong, all that matters is that who is more powerful.

Mate we are not living in the Middle Ages.

We are living in the 21st century of United Nations and diplomacy. You cannot compare times of the US Civil War or of the Mughals.

Again, your logic is flawed.

Middle ages ended in 1500s. 19th century is not middle ages.
And my logic is equally true as it was at the advent of man.

Sorry buddy, there was no United Nations at the time of American civil war.

Seriously stop wasting our time here.

Anyways Plebiscite by United Nations resolutions is the only solution to the Kashmir dispute.

Then go ahead and withdraw all Pakistani armies and Pakistani nationals from AJK and GB, as was the first conditions of the plebiscite.

Wrong! United Nations Resolutions 80 says both India and Pakistan need to withdraw military forces equally for a fair and free plebiscite.

Indian military cannot just stay in the Kashmir region and implement plebiscite where it would be biased. And Pakistani military withdraws completely. That would be unfair.

UN resolution 80 supersedes UNSC 47

This is UNSC resolution: UN Security Council Resolution 80 (1950), adopted on 14 March 1950.

And we do not agree to US resolution 80 as you did not agree to UN resolution 47.

No, wrong.

UNSC 80 supersedes UNSC 47. The resolution was adopted on March 15, 1950.

No duh, why should Pakistan agree with UNSC 47? India keeps its military in Kashmir region while Pakistan withdraws all its military forces? That would be UNFAIR!

Resolution 80 addressed the demilitarization of Jammu and Kashmir and contemplated the withdrawal of the regular armies of both India and Pakistan, followed by arrangements specifying what forces could remain on each side.

This is different from the earlier 1948 framework, under which Pakistan's withdrawal was to occur first and India was subsequently to reduce its forces.

UN records describing the earlier framework explicitly state that Pakistan agreed to withdraw its troops and that India's reduction followed after the Commission was satisfied regarding the Pakistani/tribal withdrawal.

Not the Pakistani military.

There is also UNSC Resolution 98 (1952), which continued this process and called for India and Pakistan to negotiate agreement on the number of forces remaining on each side after demilitarization.

So it is India which is at fault for not holding the plebiscite.

3 UNSC resolutions mentioned:

UNSC 47, UNSC 80, UNSC 98.

It was Pakistan which invaded the indipendent state of Kashmir.

India was on the other hand was invited by rulers of Kashmir to repel the Pakistani invaders and India only agreed to defend Kashmir after Kashmir became a part of Indian union.

So Pakistanis needs to leave as they are the invaders.
