Brics Summit - Delhi, 2026

These are all premium shahi vegetarian dishes.... just check the menu.... leaders from all participants countries were so impressed by the dinner and they were praising Indian cuisine....

What is Shahi vege dishes? Never heard of it. Shahenshah 's were meat eater.

It's called courtesy but I am sure what they were thinking. I know it as meat eater.

So using your twisted parjeet logic people can't drop something accidentally next to a sadhu?! One thing is for sure, you must have been dropped on your head as a child.
Like I said they really love lying and lying and yep lying

A viral video showing Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian bending down in front of a Hindu spiritual leader in New Delhi was misinterpreted and cropped online. While social media users and some media outlets claimed he was bowing to touch the seer's feet, the full footage and multiple witnesses confirmed he was actually picking up a piece of paper and a pen that had dropped to the floor. [1, 2, 3]

What Actually Happened
    • The Incident: During a cultural dialogue at the 2026 BRICS Summit in India, a document or magazine dropped to the floor while being handed over. [1, 2]
    • The Gesture: In an act of courtesy, President Pezeshkian immediately bent down to pick it up. Simultaneously, Hindu spiritual leader Jagadguru Swami Satishacharya and Jain monk Acharya Lokesh Muni also leaned down to help. [1, 2]
    • The Manipulation: The viral clip was tightly cropped to hide the floor, removing the dropped paper from view and making it appear as though the president was performing a traditional charan sparsh (seeking blessings by touching feet). [1, 2]
Both the Iranian Embassy and eyewitnesses present at the event released statements confirming that the gesture was purely out of humility to retrieve the fallen

Not in a million years would a self respecting Muslim touch the feet of a hindoo.

You’re speaking from a specifically Pakistani understanding of Islam and assuming it represents all Muslims. Iran has its own distinct Islamic and Persian cultural traditions. Saying “not in a million years” simply reflects your own Pakistani cultural assumptions, not the reality of the Muslim world behave.

I said "self respecting", and referring to the individual, not a collective society. You can go back to the jungle maugli. I can't speak for the Iranians, why don't you ask some of them on here what they think

You can always in eat out in restaurants. It's BRICS summit not chef's summit. Lunch menu is not the issue.

Serving vegi only food is ridiculous. The damp squib event is all over the press. Modi etc are perfect for Pakistan. They have tanked whatever positive image India may have once enjoyed. Yogi next, we hope.

DELUSIONAL - any data to back the claims of damp squib when premiers of both China and Russia were present? India is showing off its culinary diversity, we have enough veg options; unlike neighbors to west who would put ghost in dal too...

Question: when is Xi visiting Pakistan - last he visited in 2015?

For all the people crying hoarse on veg, ask this - in any Indian restaurant that you'd visit in west, do vegetarian dishes outweigh the meat options?
90%+ yes. Indians enjoy our veg dishes as much as we enjoy non-veg.

My guy, the main guest opted out of your pitiful dinner event and 2 Presidents fell sick.

The statement was a bunch of fluff that said nothing - no reference to "war" at all. It's a DOA organisation as China and India essentially are enemies.

Mushroom kebabs - 🤣🤣.

Bro, it's not about us as private individuals. You were hosting 20 world leaders and the chaiwala chose to play to his domestic audience only by forcing veg only menus.

Sure - and that is your personal/private perspective. I don't see world leaders who had to "endure" through the meal complaining - its a bunch of folks who didn't get invited throwing tantrums and getting angry

Not angry. The world is amused. Your countrymen are complaining. Those with education beyond 10th grade anyway.
