I have no doubt about that. But I can't imagine a scenario where an S400 fires a SAM missile and the the HQ-9, another SAM fires to destroy it? Since when SAMs are used to intercept SAMs? Something wrong with this story.

As @m52k85 has pointed out, a missile is a missile is a missile.

An interceptor, e.g. HQ-9, doesn't care what role the target missile is playing. If it flies long enough, it can be intercepted. The whole point of the S-400 is to detect an incoming missile far away.

Any time we tell our story there are two audiences: the domestic one and the international one.

As a Pakistani, I don't even need this; I am willing to believe our official statements. However, when looking at something in the international context, we need to ask the obvious question 'would we believe this if India claimed it?'

@Samurai has written that our satellite photos are very poor quality compared to what India is providing to support their claims in this war. I haven't formed an opinion because I haven't looked at either side's photos but it wouldn't surprise me if it's true.

Agreed, but we do have a pic of a failed or shotdown S400 inside Pakistan. Multiple failed Brahmos inside India, Jammed Brahmos shown by your ISPR radar signatures, veered off Brahmos who flew into Afghanistan, failed SCALP instact inside Pakistan. HaROp Drones dropping flies due to jamming. Having said that, some will definitely go through, nobody can 100% intercept saturation attacks unless we do an Indian style interception of missiles with their planes. 100% suckses saar.

A shot down S400 interceptor tells the opposite story: that the S-400 system was functioning and able to launch interceptors.

Pakistan's claim is that we disabled or degraded the S-400 system (probably their radar) so it should not be able to launch interceptors at a distance.

Ok bro, let us establish a few facts:

1) Do you accept the 5:0 score?
2) Do you really believe Pak retaliation did no damage? I have seen satellite pics on both sides, not much damage for both, and you naively believe a few craters on the runway can detroy an airbase?

Normally that would not happen, but S-400 is a very long range SAM, that russia has also utilised in a ground attack role. The longest range missile on it is huge, flies in the air for a long time, comes down from above, not too different from a theater ballistic missile. Hence it is not unconceivable that an SAM shoots down an S-400 shot.

Yeah, that's because the Russians used S400 for ground attack roles a few times. I don't think the Indians did. Anyway, I very much doubt this story.

To be fair brahmos is a very capable missile. We Pakistanis dont have a problem accepting, our mentality is just not like that.

It probably is but it's definitely over hyped. Not sure if true, but I have seen posts that say 26 Brahmos were fired and 22 out of them were jammed or went off course.

Just going by the nature of Indians, they over hype everything and then under deliver, I always suspected Brahmos will be same. With about Mach 3 terminal velocity, they missile can't be very accurate or have a very high success rate, also should be vulnerable to EW countermeasures.

I don't believe Paks did a 5:0 kill too until a few days ago. The evidence is there is a downed S400 missile inside Pakistan. Could have been a failure, could have been jammed, could have been shot by HQ9P, who knows. We know there were mutiple jammed brahmos, we know some got shot down, we know HQ9P shotdown one plane. The rest is just noise, nobody knows but Indians are claiming, so what we got 5 planes shot, Chinese HQ9P are useless. LOLOL.

You know what is amazing about the Pakistanis? It is the detail of information shared, they showed exact coordinates of the downed planes, which roughly correspond to 4 crashes confirmed by Indian press, Bathinda, Pampore, Akhnoor and Ramban. They showed radar displays on how they tracked Brahmos veering off and getting jammed. Dude, this is first class shit.
