China could dominate the sky with two flying sixth-generation fighter jets as the US struggles to design one

It’s simple enough. Does China have any engines as advanced as GEs XA100 or P&Ws XA101? They don’t, and it takes many years of R&D and testing to complete such designs.

China may not have ground tested variable cycle engine, but she has tested rotating detonation engine.

RDE (rotating detonation engine) offers greater advantage compared to variable cycle engine/Adaptive cycle engine (ACE) such as more thrust and more efficiency. And RDE enable 6th gen fighter to operate near space.

This is a conceptual design while the US will be in real world production on ACE engines by 2027. 🤣

Have the last couples of days enough to teach you that you'd never know what China really has?

By the way, what is this, captured hours ago above Dandong city.

The USAF has been talking about Chinese next generation aircraft for several years now. It’s nothing new to them.

And that photo has been exposed as AI generated on this forum already.🤣

China also talks about US next generation aircraft for years, did you make "predictions" like you always did? like "Huawei is dead" :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:

LOL. Can't you read?

China has tested it, and you can see the trail in the sky ... then why do you still think it is conceptual design?

You obviously can't distinguish between concept and tested one like you can't distinguish between prototype and demonstrator. :ROFLMAO:

F-22 Raptor has the credibility of a toilet paper. When Chinese technology surpasses US one day he will have no choice to admit that China has won the Tech Race and shut his trap for once.

They were full scale demonstrators and NGAD technology matured enough to where the Air Force was prepared for down select to a final production design.

Full scale production of GE and P&Ws three stream ACE engines are expected by 2027. That alone will make NGAD more advanced than anything China can put in the air.
Still dreaming.. No Pentagon official or anyone could state what qualify as 6th-gen features. Testing of features doesn't mean it was a first prototype.

Hinote, in the May 2021 interview, said he’s been “surprised at how well [NGAD] is doing.” He said he’s escorted cleared members of Congress to see the aircraft, and that they came away “impressed.” While “we still have to make it real,” he said, “there’s a lot to do in the program” and the test pilots flying the NGAD demonstrator gave it high marks.

The Air Force won’t release anything because the Internet wants to see it🤣
sure true INVISIBLE stealth. NO image PPT

if this cant be stuck into a fighter it means PPT ngad. doesnt matter how you present.

The fact the final production NGAD aircraft will have three stream ACE engines makes it more advanced than anything China can put in the air.
you need to stop posting outdated 2021 2022 articles, recent development suggests the NGAD project is getting a total revamp, presumably rolled back to blueprint stage since USAF and USN have been bickering over its specs for over a decade and nothing came out of it

also I'm eager to know how tf a jet with 2 or 3 XA-100s could cost less than a F-35!
