It all depends on the naval aspect. If America is confident on a naval victory then it would enter on behalf of Taiwan, maybe. But knowing Taiwan is just 200 km off Chinas doorstep, America would probably just do sanctions and stuffs like that (ref. Russia).

America is a calculating powerhouse. Not a stupid gung-ho nation like many people seem to think. Proven by its masterstroke during WW2 when it subdued all of its geopolitical opponents with minimal costs. America ended Europes days as colonial superpower, without really doing that much.

India would sit it out, it would likely be more diplomatic than getting involved in any meaningful way. Thats how India has operated for decades i dont see that changing. After all China as a neighbour is also not going anywhere post conflict one doesnt want even worse relations.
