2 CVNs in such time makes it seem like China is getting focused on protecting its own SLOCs in the Indian Ocean AOR, with one carrier battle group always available for service.

Btw, if it’s a CVN, space can be saved for supplies (such as no longer needing engine fuel), decreasing the need for a supply ship.

If so, China might as well consider a larger Type 055 variant that is nuclear powered; similarly armed but functioning also as a supply ship. The carrier plus three of these larger Nuclear Type 055s plus 2-3 Type 095 SSN could reach troubled hot spots around the world at sustained 30+ knots. Allowing a ship to go from Hong Kong to Dubai in about 168 hours or about one week, meaning the PLAN could have the ability to be anywhere in the norther Indian Ocean within a week.

the 5th carrier shall be nuclear.

Pretty good actually according to the latest Pentagon report. There is new brewing technology to detect submarines, China Sossus should be in place now in the East and South China Sea. China has implanted a sensor in the Marianna trench close to Guam, China has facilities to fuse all those information. China has at least 2 brigades of Maritime patrol /ASW planes now. China has 3 high sensitivity or high-frequency surveillance ships . They have at least 24 ASW corvettes with variable depth sonar and towed sonar. Not to mention that most destroyer has the same sensor too. New bigger and more sophisticated ASW helicopter aka Z20F or Z20H is in imminent production

Doesn’t count. That's an amphibious landing ship.The current saying is that the two ships in Dalian and Jiangnan are already being built in sections. The Chinese forum has related segmented photos. But the authenticity cannot be confirmed.

If it is two CVNs at the same time, China is clearly designing a long-term conflict role but not too far away to start changing its cautious stance to accelerate the simultaneous construction of aircraft carriers. Even if they are conventional, building two aircraft carriers at the same time still constitutes the same type of conclusion Chinese leaders have made about the not-so-distant conflict.

Let's be honest no country past present or future has surpassed China in manufacturing... especially in ship building
