Chinese SAC - FC-31/J-35 5th Gen Stealth Aircraft

According to Wang Yongqing, Chief Expert of the Shenyang Aircraft Research Institute of the Aviation Industry Corporation of China, the Air Force version of the J35A is a fighter jet that prioritizes air superiority and is different from the F35. I personally think that if we compare the J35A with American fighter jets, its purpose is closer to that of the F22

Wang Yongqing, Chief Expert of Shenyang Aircraft Institute: The design concept of J35A is based on the balance of single aircraft capabilities and coordinated system operations.
With the J20, the Air Force will also introduce the J35A. Here are my personal thoughts: J20 ☞ Long range cross regional interception/supersonic cruise and combat/information-based collaborative multi drone combat. J35A: Medium range/Frontline Informationized Fighter/Subsonic and Supersonic Combat Capability Balance/Good Stealth Performance in Coordinated System Operations. These two types of fighters complement each other's advantages, and the Air Force also extensively equips the J16 and J16D for ground attack and electronic warfare

I don't think J35 will have a good range. It's kind of similar to the dimensions of the F35 but has two engines. So where will it carry fuel for higher ranges
More than the number of engines, range will definitely depend upon the "specific fuel consumption" of the aircraft, it's ability to super cruise, and its max cruise altitude.

@Quwa @JamD & @Oscar @Raider 21 could better clarify this point.

Ive already gotten the points in - it’s the member’s onus to clarify what is a “good” range.

@Deino what's with the HUD? Like F35 wouldn't just pilot's HMD be good enough?

Since you are putting onus on the members , here it goes .....circle around the globe without refueling ....minimum speed Mach 5 .... should be able to carry 20 tons of payload....must be classified as fighter not bomber .

In the newly released pic, Ignoring the Luneberg Lens, one can see
1) bigger HUD,
2) single, and slightly larger nose wheel
3) gun port
4) re-designed landing gear doors
5) Vertical Stabilizers - Thinner and slightly more inclined
6) EOTS is present

what else am I missing?

Brother, lets ignore "good range" for a minute, you are better than that, and lets talk about what influences range, given similar wind conditions and similar payload.
