More than the number of engines, range will definitely depend upon the "specific fuel consumption" of the aircraft, it's ability to super cruise, and its max cruise altitude.I don't think J35 will have a good range. It's kind of similar to the dimensions of the F35 but has two engines. So where will it carry fuel for higher ranges
Ive already gotten the points in - it’s the member’s onus to clarify what is a “good” range.More than the number of engines, range will definitely depend upon the "specific fuel consumption" of the aircraft, it's ability to super cruise, and its max cruise altitude.
@Quwa @JamD & @Oscar @Raider 21 could better clarify this point.
Since you are putting onus on the members , here it goes .....circle around the globe without refueling ....minimum speed Mach 5 .... should be able to carry 20 tons of payload....must be classified as fighter not bomber .Ive already gotten the points in - it’s the member’s onus to clarify what is a “good” range.
Brother, lets ignore "good range" for a minute, you are better than that, and lets talk about what influences range, given similar wind conditions and similar payload.Ive already gotten the points in - it’s the member’s onus to clarify what is a “good” range.
