OK you mean in 8-10 million USD you can mantain a single F35 for year ... ok given ... but those are developed nations with all latest infra made for likes of F16 or F A-18 not much will required but switiching from Mirage III/IV or JF17 to J35 well good luck

and even with 10 million avarage its 360-400 million for 36 J35 as per you which i find very funny cause it takes at least 65000 to 70000 USD per sortie for feuling alone and then takes atleast 5-8 hours in hangers to check and recheck all subsystems to clear for next sorties which costs almost 200000 usd in servicing and re checking the entire airframe alone so thats an avarage cost of .25 million per sortie and an avrage fighter will to 10 sorties a month& 200 sorties a year thats 2.5 million a month thats 30 million a year thats 36X30=1080

so 1080 is bare minnimum when J35 type fighter just have 10 sorties a month rest u can keep fooling yourself as there ar e many other overheads than just fuel and regular checkups and servicing ... but sure you can always disagree

The nose diameter of Rafale is only 500 mm, which is half the size of J-10. Its radar detection range is not as good as J-10. In air combat, Rafale is really not as good as J-10. The pilots flying Rafale are Indian pilots who often crash, which is even worse than Pakistani pilots.

IAF is responsible for its own numbers crunch problem as it was always reluctant to induct and improove the LCA option in favour of FORIEGN /IMPORTED MAAL

now why did it had such an obsession to keep on re evaluating the same machienes over and over and over again and keep on retendering and rejecting in a never ending and overlly frustating game ????

just why cant they make up there mind and order outright and ask govt to shed this stupid obsession of partial TOT when they know that no oe will share there critical technology with them
