F-86 Sabre Slayer: Gun Cam Footage Shows IAF Gnat Owning PAF F-86s in '65

well if you're happy with what you achieved in 1947 then that's great. Let it all be status quo and we'll be friends.

And as for the rest....like you'll win any war on your own. Lol.
Dude Pakistan never relied on any country in wars, in 1965 America put sanctions on both India and Pakistan but it hardly mattered to India since it only fielded British, Russian and French equipment, in 1971, while Pakistan was still under American sanctions, the Russian aid flowed to India freely not to mention how Muktis assisted India in Eastern sector, during Kargil conflict, while America had Pakistan was under pressler sanctions, it provided India with all the satellite Imagery, even though India was engaged in battle within own side of the LOC.
Pakistan has always fought its wars on self strength.

Like I said Lol.

And what are your present credentials, Ghazi? your country resembles a doormat in front of India and you will remain one till the time Hindus take back what belongs to them.

What belongs to the Hindus that Pakistan is holding? And if Pakistan is so weak & irrelevant why wait? Why not just walk into this “doormat” and take what belong to the Hindus?

A perfect illustration of Clcognitive dissonance, if I ever saw one 😂

You know its funny when Indians even have to bastardise themselves just to be on a Pakistani forum, the OP loser is a prime example. You talk about Pakistan losing half the part, let's talk about pre 1947 when Pakistan was actually carved out of India and as for Bangladesh, well where do you stand today . As for you winning any wars , do enlighten us as when did you ever fought any wars without someone protecting your a&&, be it Russia, Muktis , America or Israel, you being despite several times bigger than Pakistan always left your kolkota hole to be protected by some other party.
And when you resort to discuss a person other than a topic, it only proves you are ready to dig your own hole.
Once you understand this regarding the Bhaktora variety - you will learn to ignore both the OP and the one you’re quoting and let mods handle it.

How many hunters did F-86s shoot down?
Too many bro! Way too many. Gnats were short ranged and used far less in both wars. IAF only used them in trying to ambush da PAF, Israeli style......They'd send in a couple of Hunters or Mysteres at high level. underneath them at low level would be a 4 ship Gnat formation. As soon as Sabres came in for an intercept, the Hunters/ Mysteres would dive down and escape and the Gnats would punch their tanks to zoom up and engage.

Total Israeli tactic.......

Even then its 5 vs 5.......what sabre slayer?......lol

7 F-86 Sabres were shot down during the 1965 war, with the Indian Air Force losing only two Gnats in the process. The F-86 Sabre was a significant part of the PAF fleet, and the Gnat earned its reputation as the "Sabre Slayer" due to these encounters.
Give us the sources of your claims from neutral and reputable sources not one sided Indian fake sources 🙄 😉 😜

The combat record is equal.......5 to 5......so what slayer?
And in dogfights gnat was a difficult jet to track and shot down in those days because of its small size and maneuverability.
The Gnat's small size made it difficult for enemy radar to detect and offered superior maneuverability in dogfights. Despite its compact size, the Gnat packed a punch with a single Bristol Orpheus turbojet engine, enabling impressive performance.
So one can say here the few scores of IAF are because of the gnat jet technology not because of the superior training of IAF. Overall IAF was butchered in 1965 and had a pathetic performance.

Gnat was totally superior in the vertical against the Sabre. Far better T/W ratio, small size and better maneuverability vs the Sabre. Only its very short range inexperienced Indian pilots and unreliable gun feeding mechanism robbed it of more kills.

“Sabre Slayer” is from the same brilliant minds that insist they shot down an F-16 on Operation Swift Retort.

Even gave poor Abhi nondone one of their highest awards for factious claim of shooting down an F-16 despite both Pakistani and global ridicule.

Why should anyone be surprised? This is India coping.
