On the other hand, which strong teams (on paper) has Mexico defeated at home? They barely have any serious rivals in CONCACAF, so it is no wonder that they hardly ever lose at home. Their only real rival is the US. Friendlies are mostly meaningless in football and primarily serve as warm-up matches for tactical adjustments, as well as giving new players and young talents a chance to shine.

England are much stronger, both as a team and player for player. Mexico's main advantages are the altitude and home advantage. If this game were played in, say, Kansas City, I would make England a 75–25 favourite.

Supposedly, the game has been delayed by an hour due to the weather. FFS, this World Cup is really messing up one's sleep pattern.

To some degree, yes. The US scenes were filmed in Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Washington, and Ohio. Talk about a very dark movie. Still gives me chills after all these years.

Neymar can't last a full game any more. He's had all sorts of injuries recently. Anyway, it's over for him now sadly. I presume he will retire from international football now.
 
How long is the match delayed?? What if there is so much rain and lightning the game gets delayed till tomorrow ? Will people in England call in sick both days ?

You have no idea how true this video is.

It made me laugh cause I come from mix family mex-Americans and they celebrate 4th July's with red-white-blue sombreros. When USA plays Mexico their kids root for USA and older folks root for both teams which never made sense to me.
