Development isn’t limited to physical infrastructure or services, but human development. The people of Pakistan are not prosperous and the people in the western provinces of Pakistan are even less prosperous due to the wealth of the country being heavily mismanaged. If China wants stability and unity in Pakistan it should implore the ruling class to concede to the wish of the people for a more responsive government, that also stays within the framework of national interests and long term goals.

25 terrorists and three different locations and just two months and our intelligence agencies failed to stop any of them before they could happen despite such big number of terrorists getting involved

And then there are attacks by TTP, ISKP etc etc

Where exactly are the intelligence agencies and security institutions? What are they doing??

As what we have seen in past 2 decades. Pakistan can't handle this terrorism menace. Its security forces are in no way capable to handle this situation

Future is dark and is getting darker with every passing day with additional political instability and chaos that could have been avoided

All you are saying is entire Afghanistan (all 40 million) are fassaadi. Okay even if it's so, unfortunately they are your neighbors. You just cannot shift entire Afghanistan to South America. It will live with you forever. Plus there is no capacity that exists on earth which can guard the whole AF-PAK border of 2700 KMs. If you're thinking you will just seal the border then you're so WRONG!!!!.. No one can seal even 100 Km of borders. Just try to imagine & visualize guarding or sealing the vastness of 2700 km. Even trillion dollar budget cannot do it. In mexico - US, they make tunnels when the super power with all technology of the world cannot stop them. But in AF-Pak border the Afghans have God made tunnels & passage ways on borders (caves, rivers, lakes, villages, forests, mountains) all that in pak-afghan border. So now question is how you defend such a border??? There is only one answer: By a friendly govt in Afghanistan. That's your only solution. I am getting tired of explaining this but somehow you either don't read or what.

and lastly, How expelling the afghans is solution to this? Even GHQ and govt is saying that attacks on Pak soil comes from afghan territory. So those refugees are not doing the attacks at you at first place. ok let's assume you are able to expel each and every afghan out, then what's next? What's your plan to stop inflitration by TTP and others?

YES, I am saying all Afghans are fassadi and the less you have the less terrorism, murder and fassad you will have

At the end of the day it's the responsibility of the state to look after it's own interests and benefits

What benefits have Afghans given Pakistan?, what benefit does Pakistan get from hosting so many of these namak harams?


Even if we have friendly government in Kabul, why should we keep millions of people inside Pakistan that are costly to keep and add nothing to Pakistan?


At some point you have to prioritise the well being of your own people and population, because of you are going to wait on afghanis to act like insaan then you are going to wait forever

Basically China will change the heads of local governments. And incorporate counter-terrorism into officials’ evaluations. However, the political systems of China and Pakistan are different and cannot be treated as identical.

Or is it too much to ask when they are busy in more important matters picking political workers and banning internet?

Because you hit their leaders in Iran, they have been desperate to score a high profile attack, so far they have lost 25-40 terrorists

Yes, due to different national conditions, we cannot evaluate, but in China, the person in charge will definitely have no hope of promotion in their lifetime since he came to power, China has been a cold official accountability system

13 guys were planning to attack whole city of Mach and our intelligence agencies failed to stop them before the attack

Then 8 other planned to attack most sensitive location of Gwadar and successfully managed to do that

And now Turbat base which is a very major naval base of Pakistan

On a relevant note Chinese engineers need to be ferried by helicopter or plane. The roads are not safe. This is the second big attack and they will now strike more often.

A strong stable government with a clear mandate working in tandem with a military whose focus is on security was needed. Alas.....
