Full Text of Controversial Imran Khan Cypher Released

You've made a vague statement, and don't point out what exactly it is you're referring to.

I was clearly referring to the cipher saga.

And your point is?

The point is that Pakistan has moved on from the IK era.

The difference between your thinking and mine; you think its normal and inevitable behavior by the establishment. I think the establishment needs to dragged through a literal meat grinder, until it learns to keep its hands to itself and learn its place.

The difference here is between idealism and realism. You may think that the establishment needs to be run through a meat grinder, but I know that there is no practical way to do that..

Further, it will be impossible to do that from abroad, which is where the majority of the social media noise originates from, while claiming widespread public support within Pakistan that never materializes.

Just how many more failed initiatives to protest for IK's release does one need as proof?

It will not. There is always an end.

Please carry on hoping and wishing for that tomorrow in Pakistan, while living life abroad.

Or some faction within a powerful organization is unhappy their turn won’t be coming anytime soon, hence let’s test the waters.

Has been done before. Can’t say it won’t happen again.

The Generals created modern day Pakistan in 1977, and have ruled it ever since in a manner that they decide - totally illegally and outside of the Constitution.

The General's power structure is stable. The people are in a downward spiral.

The Generals have no reason to change. The people remain accepting of their fate, except the lucky few that can escape abroad.

And that's the way it is, like it or not.
Makes sense but another political reality is millions of people since 1977 have gone to foreign nations, made millions and now have a strong voice, they now want their foothold in Pakistan aswell as foreign nations, they have made connections in foreign nations, have their own interests, so they also want a big piece of cake.

why start from here, why not start from 2018 ? how do you think IK came into power ? do you remember Jahangir Tareen and his "Jahaaz" which was hunting and buying candidates on behalf of establishment.
PDM did exactly what PTI did to them. The military had big issues with Nawaz Sharif, toppled twice in the 1990s, exiled, then 2013 government had issues, dawn leaks etc, he was finally removed to make way for a new face but soon disagreements happened with the new leader and we reached a point of no return.

I just know it is not stable. It had buffers and was cyclic in nature (army has been at the front foot and then the back foot). It should change according to precedence, in addition to the falling economy and unpopularity. Every declining power dies out fighting.

It has been stable, now in buffer and going towards instability.

Public, judges, journalists, junior generals, etc., acceptance (before) and incumbency (now) are the main guarantors of the current system.

Till a level is reached, where a nudge takes the system ti instability.

Your point is valid.

The culprit is ours one and truly.

One institution that overthrows politicians, subverts the constitution, does everything with total impunity.

if only they were simple disagreements he could have been forgiven, IK single handily set fire to Pakistan's foreign policy & economy.

But we also were not happy with the politicians, people cursed PPP and Pmln rule. Today some toxic people have turned their guns towards the military, believe me i recently sat in their gatherings, the amount of hatred and propaganda they do is unacceptable. What is the difference between all these forces then, the Ppp/Pmln nexus, Pti and establishment. Let's not forget JUI Fazlur Rehman and Mahmood Khan Achakzai, they were part of PDM.

Let me correct it for you .

One institution that overthrows politicians with the help of politicians, subverts the constitution with the help of politicians, does everything with total impunity again with help of politicians.

And the institution being all powerful. Does it not have a moral compass to not play this game with the politicians.

Sir, the politicians are an opportunistic bunch and there is a parliament which is a forum for them to play their political games.

The establishment however does not. Their stepping into politics is a direct activation of the Article 6 clause, if Pakistan had a functioning judiciary.

I dont think it was economy, more to do with internal security, policy, international relations. Even the current government is flopping, and Imran Khan government had to face covid and Russian war.

Bro, what do you propose political parties do?

I would personally hate PMLN, PPP for requesting US to sanction Pakistan, curse the Army Chief & institutions, Dawn Leaks, Memo gates. The PTI is somewhat in the same boat.

Look deeper, whats the underlying constant that forces politicians to do this.

This time as I mentioned above, as a result of overthrowing the previous government, sweets weren’t distributed but they came out and sang the anthem. A tacit message to the all powerful that enough of these games.

While external challenges like COVID were real, PTI administration's internal fiscal choices heavily destabilized Pakistan’s economic foundation, and the Russia Ukraine war cannot be used as an excuse since Imran Khan was ousted almost immediately after it began.

The nominal GDP growth seen in 2021 and 2022 was an unsustainable, import heavy expansion that overheated the economy and drove total public debt up by 78%, skyrocketing from Rs. 24.95 trillion to Rs. 44.36 trillion. This borrowing spree was accompanied by a 50% devaluation of the rupee, which plunged from Rs. 123 to Rs. 183 against the US dollar, while energy circular debt doubled to over Rs. 2.5 trillion.

The definitive economic blow came in February 2022 when He introduced an unbudgeted fuel and electricity subsidy package that cost up to Rs. 300 billion monthly; this populist move directly violated Pakistan's agreement with the IMF, freezing the program, draining central bank reserves, and leaving the country on the absolute brink of default.

The Opposition formally announced VoNC on 11th February, 2022.

Unless Americans went back in time to tell Pakistani opposition to file a no confidence motion for something that was going to happen a month later, your whole theory sounds fiction at best.
Unfortunately the Cipher was a case of linking one foreign policy aspect with an already failing local narrative.
And the justification given is that it was conspiracy which it could have been or simply a benefactor in the establishment not willing to cover for a man who compromised his so called principles - so why should they not go back to their existing formula (regardless of the actual idiocy of that approach) instead of someone who they have no results from(in the metrics that matter from their perspective ) other than rhetoric.

Moreover, if the cipher’s content is real it completely destroys the self righteous victimhood narrative in the sense that it displays how much IK and Co did create policies which in retrospect did fail in achieving any of the idealistic claims behind them.

The question then isn’t whether IK was removed due to conspiracy
but that subsequent suppression of what was a part victim but mostly anti-system narrative driven vote bank that went to polls for him - due to a campaign driven on this cipher by a man unwilling to accept he was outmaneuvered in politics & statecraft due to his own ego and compromises made for his personal subservience to a unprincipled spouse - was illegal or not in how the system led by the establishment stole this mandate provided,

That question has a much straighter and cleaner answer and is supported by Pakistani history of preventing any actual power to the people by the establishment of which the military is a part of but includes business and feudal elite.

So - PTI is justified to protest the farcical results of the election.

But have no grounds based on this cipher to justify if they were actually doing “great things” or “constrained” or “victims” in during their government.

If anything, it only proves that IK was a bumbling leader no better than previous populists everywhere in his judgement of realpolitik nor of the system he supposedly came to change while willing to compromise on his principles.

Jinnah was criticized heavily by his contemporaries and by historians since on his flips in views.

His shift from Congress to Muslim League, his strategic use of communal politics in 1937, his calculated ambiguity on whether Pakistan would be secular or theocratic and ALL of it has been dissected and questioned for decades.

What nobody seriously disputes is the man estranged his only daughter rather than let personal sentiment override his political identity. He died with virtually nothing. He built his entire career without a Bani Gala, without a Bushra Bibi, without a Jahangir Tareen funding the operation from behind the scenes.

Imran Khan is a man too proud to admit he was outplayed, dressing up his personal failures in the language of national betrayal which his mice dance to while spouting nothing but pitiful language and low grade compartmentalism based insults on. Because deep down they know this as well - and the only defense then is their typical tape recorder… no different than PMLN or PPPP supporters who go on just Imran Khan tirades while unable to find typical compromises in early PTI appointments of some very good competent people… who themselves subsequently soured of IK.

PTI voters were robbed at the ballot box which is NOT in dispute and the establishment has done this for decades to protect an elitist corrupt system and THAT is not in dispute .

But the man they were voting for was not a principled outsider. He was just another beneficiary of the same establishment he claimed to be fighting, who discovered too late that the arrangement had terms he couldn’t meet.

Yup...it sure would sound fiction if comprehension ability is lacking.
