Gaza-Israel Conflict | 2023-2024

I have been thinking a lot about some of these things. Zionists have worked hard to build what they have since as early as late 19th century. We only hear about the Balfour Declaration, the Holocaust, the 1948 war but a lot has gone into materializing the current rich and advanced society.

After all that effort: They will not go down without bringing down the world. You can expect not only Mossad hitjobs but also going after any media/blogs which would become powerful voice.

It kind of feels like the end game doesn't it, since 9/11 every single challenge to their project has been removed, pretty much Iran is left and therefore if it is the end game that explains the zealousness, as if to say now's the time.

In another 5 years Iran might have nukes or be too powerful, maybe they have baked this into their thinking.

Local Hezbollah official and three other members killed in Israeli attack on Naqoura: Reuters

More details on the strike we reported earlier in southern Lebanon: Two security sources told the Reuters news agency that four Hezbollah members were killed in the attack on what had been described as a residential building.

It brings the number of Hezbollah members killed on Wednesday to nine.

I think this is the sad and inevitable result of the only viable strategy to deal with sought targets melting indistinguishably into innocent civilian populations. This brutality is perhaps only matched by what Russia did in Chechnya.

Does Lebanon have any SAMs or Radar or another way they can hit Israeli Air force or drones??

For sure, this conflict has become existential for Israel and that has to do with Israel's geography and demographics. They have to act to neutralize the threat in the northern and the southern regions of Israel otherwise those regions would be mostly empty of population, further squishing Israelis into central Israel--in an already small country. And if they act, it causes more bloodshed in the region and drive away investment/people from Israel.
Very tough situation to be in.

I think I posted this on the previous forum but for all that can please support Tayab Ali, who is leading the International Centre of Justice for Palestinians and going after politicians who have supported, abetted and been complicit in the war crimes, massacres and genocide in Gaza. A video of what they are doing is here Tayab Ali: Arab and Muslim countries must back South Africa’s genocide case against Israel

Their website: ICJP

This IMO is a positive way to take action through legal means.

In 6 years of WW2, the bloodiest in human history, where the whole world was at war and one with an active genocide, only 63 journalist were killed. 69 were killed in 20 years of Vietnam war. Yet Israel has proudly killed 96 journalist, many with their whole families in just 2 months of their genocidal assault on Gaza.

As long as #genocidejoe's in American and Israeli firsters continue to dominate the affairs in US and Europe, Israel will always be economically/financially viable.

Journalists in modern conflict zones are much more at the frontlines by themselves than the embedded and escorted journalists in past times.

True. But in which modern conflict were this many journalists killed in a similar amount of time?

as of now, i think Israel has ensured they are "pro-Hezbollah"- Lebanese seem to reconcile differences and speak with one voice when facing threats from Israel.
this is absolutely false, unfortunately. Lebanese twitter was flooded by tweets of joy in response to the Israeli assassination of the Hamas leader in Beirut.

Are we looking at adjusted hazard exposure and conflict intensity or just by raw numbers per unit time, assuming the definition of journalist is the same?
