Gaza-Israel Conflict | 2023-2024

Are we looking at adjusted hazard exposure and conflict intensity or just by raw numbers per unit time, assuming the definition of journalist is the same?
you can present any numbers you like, all of them will point to the same conclusion

Not really. I cannot account for the variables here to make a robust enough conclusion, TBH. But you, or someone else here, might know how do do it better.

but as of now, i think Israel has ensured they are "pro-Hezbollah"- Lebanese seem to reconcile differences and speak with one voice when facing threats from Israel.
Not much even the Lebanese Army can do against Hezbollah. "Power flows from the barrel of a gun".
this is absolutely false, unfortunately. Lebanese twitter was flooded by tweets of joy in response to the Israeli assassination of the Hamas leader in Beirut.

I can understand why people wanting peace but if there is any force preventing Israel from taking up the fertile land with plenty of water up to the Litani River it is Hezbollah. Israelis, like the NAZIS, have a dream of a 'Lebensraum' and water/fertile land is CRITICAL to attract millions of Jews into Israel. I saw an Israeli blogger saying up to 50 million Jews can be accommodated if Israel takes fertile land around its borders.
Never underestimate the colonial nature of Israel!! They are mostly of European extraction and colonialism is in their blood!!

I agree with all of this but it's not related to what you said about Lebanese people all speaking with one voice when it comes to Hezbollah

None of these metrics are a thing, unless you want to enlighten us all?
Can we just make things up?

Please don't let me stop you from making up whatever you wish for yourself; it is your protected right.

Reducing or removing any else's ignorance is not my job.

What adjusted hazard exposure for this conflict are you looking at? Please.

You could try to study things like risk ratios, odds ratios, and hazard ratios for that kind of analyses if you are interested in learning further. As I said, what you wish to learn or not is totally your own responsbility, not mine.

Now can we please stay on topic?

The topic here is what you raised, therefore you are only condemning your own posts, I am discussing what you raised yourself.

None of those terms are meaningful or apply in this context, you should allow this post to stand so others can be aware. Lets see.

Not me Sir. @Persian Gulf raised that question. Please ask him.

Breaking:

German cirizens told to leave Lebaon

could this be a precaution but why now its day 89 of the war

I think Israel wants to hit more targets in Lebanon to draw Hezbollah in

We know Gazans dont have any significant air defence equipment.
But what about Hezbollah?
Do they have any systems that could take out Israeli jets and missile strikes on Lebanon?

They have manpads, we now know they have the Iranian loitering air defense system 358, anti aircraft guns for sure but pretty sure if they are to be used more for offensive use any major anti aircraft systems if they have no one knows but really hard to have them brought in without others noticing.

You tried to contextualise the rate of journalists being killed in Gaza, I asked "in which modern conflict were this many journalists killed in a similar amount of time?"

The answer is: none

Not at all.

These are the original comments:

In 6 years of WW2, the bloodiest in human history, where the whole world was at war and one with an active genocide, only 63 journalist were killed. 69 were killed in 20 years of Vietnam war. Yet Israel has proudly killed 96 journalist, many with their whole families in just 2 months of their genocidal assault on Gaza.

Journalists in modern conflict zones are much more at the frontlines by themselves than the embedded and escorted journalists in past times.

True. But in which modern conflict were this many journalists killed in a similar amount of time?

I am waiting for you to tell us a better conclusion since I do not have enough data to contextualize your claims.
