We also know this war is hurting Israel badly because of the ratio of Israel's enemies killed to Israelis/IDF killed.

Considering their previous conflicts and clashes, I suspect the current war between Israel and Hezbollah where Israel is experiencing its worst ratio of Hezbollah soldiers killed to Israeli soldiers and citizens killed.

And yes, the ratio of Palestinians killed in conflict to Israelis is mathematics telling us that Israel for sure has committed genocide against Palestinians (no ifs ands or buts, and if you have those on this forum, you have low empathy and something is off upstairs).

The only leverage Hamas has for a ceasefire is the Zionist prisoners

But since Israel cant dismantle Hamas and its able to regenerate itself (especially its manpower/ground forces)maybe Hamas doesnt really need more leverage to damage Israel permanently and irreversibly, maybe Hamas just needs more time to keep destroying critical and hard-to-recover and hard-to-build-back-easily equipment and experienced soldiers to exhaust and collapse the IDF (especially as other resistance factions maintain kinetic conflict with Israel at the same time).

Hamas isnt looking for leverage really, its goal is Palestinian independence and true sovereignty, maybe it has already done whats needed to make that actually happen...soon.
