Gaza-Israel Conflict | 2023-2024

That is not a “kind of defensive war”. Keep talking in circles. Your explanation means nothing when you are wrong.

It is only semantic matter.

Scholars and politicians sharply disagree on the ultimate legitimacy of the use of preemptive force. However, most do tend to agree on several fundamental prerequisites for a preemptive strike to be conceived as potentially justifiable.

The point is: justifiable.

Yes for you.

But you are the one who play ad-hominem abt me here.

You have been oppressing, occupying, stealing land, and killing Palestinians for over 75 years. We have every right to resist this fascist Zionist state. Thanks for admitting Israel is “taking over our territory”. Your Israel “taking over our land ” is such a mild way to put it like it was just handed the land, Israel is stealing land is the correct way to word it.

It is according to you and your own rule, not according to justice nor international law.

UN has issued resolution 181 about partition plan, but you keep rejecting and violating by attacking Israel on and on; once Israel retaliated & violated UN law and took over your territory you shouldn't complain and became whinny.

They are on trial for plausible genocide. That means that Israel’s actions is reasonable and probably of it committing genocide. Your denial means nothing.

Verdict is the determinant.

You can’t justify the murder of 30,000 innocent Palestinians. I wish to respect your beliefs but your non acceptance of ethnic cleansing being taking place as we speak - makes it difficult. What do you call displacing 90% Palestinians?

No, you like to make your own rules. Once again, you said that Egypt was the aggressor and attacked you. When you were called out for your lies, you try to justify your false claims by saying it’s “justifiable”. You were the aggressor point blank no way to get around that.

UN had no right to take land that was not theirs to give it to an invader against the Palestinian citizens wishes. You did not come to live amongst the Palestinians but to expel and steal their land. The moment you decided to rob and cleanse a people of their land you became a colonizer. And that means Palestinians have the right to resist in any means possible.

Without the expulsions of the Palestinians, there would have never been a “Jewish” state. You were still the minority.

That is the way to defeat this entity in the end.

Make their lives a misery by taking away their prosperity and sense of security.

Absolutely!!
And imagine living in a country where the medians on your highways are designed to protect from rockets? I am used to greenery and flowers in America. Where the hotels have bomb shelters? Where the schools have bomb shelters? Where most places have bomb shelters??

Israelis thought they could indefinitely enjoy a Mediterranean lifestyle, partly funded and protected by the Americans, while in the midst of them and just a few miles from them were so many millions in virtual prisons. Israelis thought they could repeat the Native American subjugation in Palestine. It is not working out like that anymore--it worked well for a while--but nothing lasts forever.

They live in fear because they know it’s not their land and do not want to die for it. They know they can just fly back to Europe or wherever they came from. The Palestinians on the other hand are the real owners of the land and are willing to make the ultimate sacrifice to be free. They are the ultimate cowards.

“Black clergy have seen war, militarism, poverty and racism all connected,” said Barbara Williams-Skinner, co-convener of the National African American Clergy Network, whose members lead roughly 15 million Black churchgoers. She helped coordinate recent meetings between the White House and faith leaders. “But the Israel-Gaza war, unlike Iran and Afghanistan, has evoked the kind of deep-seated angst among Black people that I have not seen since the civil rights movement.”

When Hamas invaded Israel on Oct. 7, killing some 1,200 Israelis and taking about 240 people hostage, leagues of Black pastors joined their counterparts in interfaith prayer for Israel, whose land they revere as holy.

But since then, the pastors’ Palestinian allies in the United States, Gaza and the West Bank have sought their assistance on behalf of civilians suffering under Israel’s counteroffensive. And the pastors have gotten an earful from their own congregants, especially younger churchgoers, about the conflict and Mr. Biden’s full-throated support for Israel.

That sentiment more broadly reflects a strong sense of solidarity between Black Americans and Palestinians that has shaped opinion since the war began.
