A couple of questions regarding our EO sensor capabilities ,
1) Are the zumr series EO sensors indigenous? as in not repainted stuff from china?
2)How old/good is our EO sensor capabilities/knowledge base?
3)how far are we compared to the world in this? and have we exported any or tried to do so??
4)do we still manufacture them? are the lenses/sensors made in Pakistan?
Thanks in advance.

Domestically designed and integrated, but with imported inputs.

Some small workshop in China making Shahed clone bodies. I think we can set these up in Gujranwala where they used to make those fiberglass big dishes.

Pakistan me plant lagaye and make thousands of these. If we want any serious deterrence against India. Make them run out of interceptors in days if they try another Op Sindoor esque adventure.

Seems like you just need a small workshop to build the bodies atleast. If we have a Yamaha factory that atleast builds a 2 stroke engine source those. Rest is basic electronics. Maybe the GPS module would be the most expensive component.

We don't build Yamaha or for that matter any petrol engine in the country! We used to build from scratch the engine of Bedford truck (Rocket) BECO/PECO when the entire production line was shifted to Pakistan from UK. These engines were used in tube wells, fishing boats, and many other applications. But withe a lot of other good stuff that we used to be self sufficient in, we let it slide and now dependant upon imports.

Imagine a nation of 240M , nuclear power and can't build basic rudimentary things.

GPS modules are dirt cheap

Does Pakistan has enough industrial base to be used to manufacture an indigenous 2-stroke engine for "shahed like purposes" set that a team of dedicated mechanical engineers can develop and design it, can it be scaled?

If you want to get your ass save from jamming/spoffing
You need beamforming with gps thus increasing cost drastically

If your requirement is simply to manufacture it, then Pakistan is fully capable of doing so. In fact, many countries around the world have this capability. Even more so, after learning some basic principles and fundamental machining skills, it's easy for one person to manufacture it.

But...

Its size, weight, fuel efficiency, performance, and cost are significantly different from established products on the market.

It is not a big job. It is all about design, metallurgy, casting, machining and tooling. It can be done easily. We can replicate the Japanese engines that we import as part of the CKD. It is no longer a rocket science.

You don't even require any complex metallurgy here as well. Because this Kamikaze drone engine is supposed to be used for one time only.

Russia's Geran-2 is using off the shelf parts such as low-cost Raspberry Pis and Chinese 4G modems. This is not cutting edge rocket science.
