Green light for Eurofighter from Germany for the Turkish Air Force

First of all, as I said, I used the word encrypt because it's 1 am here and I don't remember the term "Object code" and I simply use the word Encrypt, that's implies it was complied, you can think all you want, I don't mind. I didn't touch any Computer Science base things since 2010 after I graduated.

Second of all you CAN recover the functionality of a source code from DLL, again, this is how datamining works. I never said I know how to do it (I can try, no guarantee), nor it is easy to do, I am not a good programmer that's why I abandoned the field and go into Economy, I am saying people better hacker than me could possibly do it, that's why I asked you twice now, do you really think it's not doable even for Chinese with their advance computer programming tech.
I just realized I had wasted some good posts of explaining you something that you should have already known as a CS grad. Read them again, cause you clearly didn't.

First of all, read my response to @Alibaba I already explained what is Source Code and what is Machine Code and what is Object Code.

Second of all, I still have not get a straight answer from you "Does that mean China can't do it?" This is the third time by the way.

Thirdly, no, even I don't touch CS anymore, your post won't be top 3 for me, @Nilgiri probably would beat your arse in his post and you can ask him to show you more. Especially AI and Machine Learning where I major in when I did CS.

I honestly don't care if my post isn't in your top 3, I am not looking for your validation. You don't even have an idea of what you are talking about.

Beating my ass in Nilgiri's post? You sure you are a grown-up? Don't act childish, this isn't a competition. Read my posts, understand them and try to learn.

Not gonna argue with you more, I'm out.

I am just going to post this once, again, we aren't talking about how to datamine games like Grand Theft Auto

Source code is the raw code programmer put into a program, which then translate (or however you said) via computer instruction into Machine Language pointing into the machine to work, because source code is "high level" code that we make as we put in the program and machine understand shit about high level code, it only understands 0/1 instruction or machine language.

The data security aspect is that you insulate all the data side versus user side code, because you can't basically understand machine language (You can but with significant handicap) but for machine to process instruction, for example, "Hello World" it could be 00110001 00101101 (just arbitary), if you were to hack a game. It's pointless for you to retrieve 00110001 00101101 because that would have been the result of what the machine put out, the goal for you is to hack the original high level language instructions of "Hello World" I put in as a programer. That's what hacker/dataminer want to know.

So how you can get the "Hello World" from DLL library? You can compare previous release version and match out what is different and what is the same, the issue here is, I can encrypt high level language at my end when I was writing it in java or whatever, bit you can't really encrypt machine language because of its quite basic form.

The point I was trying to made earlier is that you can go thru a DLL to see what changes and then located an "Abnormality" that way, not that it can reveal your source code or alter it, otherwise I would not say datamining.......

I studied computer science as a degree and have been a practioner of computer science for over 30 years. I know how this stuff works. I will defer to SteppeWolff as he also seems to know what he is talking about and can help explain ( and he seems younger and far more patient in explaining than I would be as an old hack that i am ).

OG.

I am still in the process of completing my degree lol.

I was correct about the young part then !!! :ROFLMAO::LOL:

You are doing quite well than!! Good luck on the exams, I am sure you will do well !

btw - I had to learn Cobol, Pascal and X86 machine code during my degree !! First job was cutting "C" code. The good "old" days ...

I think the kill switch is if NATO itself is going to bring in Turkey if Turkey attack Greece

There is no united NATO

The UK , Spain and Italy support Turkiye
on the other hand Germany support Greece

There will not be kill switch ..
if the kill switch is used , then Europe can not sell any weapon to anyone

I did computer science back in early 2010s with UNSW when I think it was hip, I never practice the field because at the last year I switch my major to Economy. Never done programming works. Studied Pascal (CS101) and C (CS104) in my first year, XTML (as part of CS204 Software Engineering) and SQL/Apache (Database Engineering, forgot the course code) and then First tired Computer Graphic in 3rd years, but dropped out and switch to AI and Machine Learning

If you want, I can supply my academic detail for you, and you can see it for yourself. (think I can still download my transcript somewhere)

Also, was my explanation of "Source Code" and "Object Code" satisfactory?

Odd that they are going for 2nd hand Typhoons. Wonder what the rush is? Are these going to be a temporary lease until they get new built F4 variants? Can these 2nd hand ones be upgraded to the latest variant?

Guess we will know in the next few months if/when a contract is actually signed.

The rush doesn't make sense to me.

If comes true it'll be another blessing for the PAF. It can ho.ne up its tactics even better by doing exercises against Typhoons....

PAF has already exercised with the Qatari EF.

These are probably the same fighter jets that Türkiye will buy.

People who think , Typhoon is Still behind US avionics.. .Typhoon cockpit still uses multi-displays and separate systems unlike the single multi-function and helmet mounted displays of F-35 and Super Hornets. You are incorrect ,The Typhoons have been using the striker helmet since 2007. Just 4 years after the Typhoons entry into service. It is more capable than the jhmcs of the super hornet and has integration with the Typhoons pirate irst sensor. A capability the super hornet does not even have. The striker 2 the next iteration of the helmet will enter service soon and will add night vision capabilities. The midlife upgrade of the typhoon which will be introduced in a few years will have a large area display bigger than anything on any other fighter. A new GAN based Aesa radar more than 50% larger than the super hornets radar. This radar will be more advanced than the apg-81 on the F35 as well. And I do hope this deal is not expense of Turkey agreeing to leave BRICS🤔

Guys, I have utmost respect for experts and we enjoyed reading your exchange. Please return back to the topic of this thread and don't start a fire.
the exchange start being nuisance 3 pages ago..when it stop being about computer science, source code, kill switch and all and it became a dick measurement contest

But I respect you and I will stay put

The Rush is the issue, if there wasn't a rush, they would wait 5 year until the KAAN was ready or the light fighter/attack version of the Hurjet was ready.

There are a few things, particularly the F-4s that are reaching their service life, and the earlier F-16s, Turkey has extended and upgraded them in terms of avionics but eventually the air frames get too old. Turkey also wants to expand the size of its fleet.

So essentially a lot of asks and a small funnel to satisfy the demand. The price of the KAAN will be expensive and we don't know the production rate. Its a lot of eggs in one basket, on one hand its a huge opportunity, on the other hand there is some risk involved.
