Gunman opens fire at crowded Australia beach, people rush for shelter

BBC News is reporting that the gunman received their training in the Philipines.

Odd place!?

None of the footage available provide evidence that they had any training. One of them was taken down by a PTSD Syrian.

They probably went to Philippines to celebrate Philippines BrahMos acquisition.

This is only helping the enemy.
Whose the enemy? Apart from Kashmir and Palestinian conflict, Muslims are fighting Muslims.
Why are some Muslims getting radicalized and falling for this?
In this particular case, I would assume that Indian minorities have taken to radicalisation as a form of survival tactics against state sponsored Islamophobia.

protect our youth

By being Just!
Injustice is the single largest instigator for people of all backgrounds to rile up and rise. It becomes easy pickings for those looking for Cannon fodder. There is no bigger damnation and reality check for ones in charge on their inability to deliver justice or stand up for what is right.

No one... volunteers for the plight of meek hounded and oppressed by the evil and mighty. Gaza was a testament of Muslims shown their place and worth. Both life and possessions... not even showing spine for women and children. It is a verdict... an infliction... that keeps eating itself because of its inability to do the right thing!

Sajid Akram's Indian nationality will definitely amplify the tarnishing of Indian image in Australia.

And Allah has saved the Muslims by sending another Muslim for damage control at the right time.

Now the issue that will remain is how we Muslims can protect our youth from getting radicalised, whether we belong to any country.

Excellent post. We should always remain vigilant.

Dawn:

"In a post on X, Senator Sherri Rehman noted that the attack raised questions about links to New Delhi as Indian and Israeli allegations of Pakistani involvement “were backfiring at warp speed”.

“Perhaps the FATF should also look into growing support from India for terrorist groups operating internationally. The fingerprints are piling up,” she wrote, tagging the anti-terror financing watchdog."

As we have stated here to the Indian forum goers, Delhi on the one hand states these terrorists are nothing to do with them, but at the same time provides material support for those who bomb civilians in Pakistan. If you willingly host talibs and BLA for their terror projects against Pakistan, then IS will also find fertile grounds for ideological development - IS just happens to find targets globally.

good luck finding buyers for this narrative...

Meanwhile...

Indians making fun of their Godi Media.

I mean ... Arnab whatshisface is a joke. I don't if I should feel sorry for the idiots that praise him in the comments section. Clearly their delusional.

Seems like Indian Media just can't get a break. Everytime they blame something on Pakistan, just comes and hits 'em in the face.

... and Indian Members on [PDF] be like, "...but Dude, your former PM is locked in jail blah-blah-blah."

Glad to know it was well received
Pretending you need me to tell you that Indians have always been happy with the malevolent designs of their political and military leadership is rather disingenuous of you. From Hari Singh to Narendra Modi, acts of state sanctioned genocide and terrorism are routinely excused and celebrated by the voting citizenry.

So as citizens we’re supposed to be angry because our government puts national interest first? Why would we be? Americans vote for governments that intervene abroad when it suits their economy or strategy, and that’s treated as normal.

Pakistanis seem fine with it when the West does the same. But when India acts in its own interest, suddenly we’re expected to behave according to Pakistani standards? We don’t expect Pakistan to act for India’s benefit, we assume you’ll do what’s best for you. And it’s our job to do the same for ourselves.
Sponsoring terrorism and insurgency in your own neighborhood wasn't serving the national interest. It came back to bite India very hard. Hindutva will also have a massive boomerang effect on India.

Replying on video:

What is the problem with these people. When it’s confirmed that the person was of Indian origin, why they keep denying it. It’s like digging your ahead in the ground, like an Ostrich.

You guys would obviously know that best, sheltering militants for decades and then dealing with the blowback yourselves.
Difference is, I seriously doubt India hosts any of them on its soil.

We guys learned from India the business of sponsoring violent groups and using them to hurt neighbors, which you claim was India acting in "national interest".

I do appreciate Indians now proudly owning their sponsorship of all separatist, insurgent, terrorist groups in South Asia. Indians should also own the shooters in Australia.
