already there is a programme with IAF underway that is in R&D phase making new antennas of GaN based UTTAM AESA for both Mig29s variants IAF & Navy and Mirage2000 besides Su30MKI with a relevant EW & self protection suit also made by LRDE/DRDOMirage2000 do not have AESA radars. besides that there is a deal for 500+ GE414 engines to be manufactured in India under 80% Tranfer of Technology from USA for which US Congress has already cleared the deal which is for LCA MK2 & AMCA now what dose it indicates

The USAF is clearly made up of entirely idiots for replacing the F-5 with the F-16 as it is larger, has bigger engines, greater fuel consumption, higher maintenance costs, and reduced stealth.

But he didn't mention zero, no one did but you. The point of contention for the poster you quoted is comparing LCA and F16. It's like comparing apples and pine apples. Both fruits, both deliver vitamins and sustenance, but in different quantities and qualities. Can't go to a vendor selling apples and ask them why his apples cost different from pine apples the other vendor is selling. Can't ask a pine apple farmer why his farm produces different quantities from an apple farm. It's not about LCA vs F16 when it comes to classifications of fighter jets.
