There’s 35 countries in the Americas…make sure you don’t conveniently forget to remind them too.
Why let reality get in the way of an ignorance-filled rant?

FWIW, the Spaniards committed far more genocide in the Americas than the Brits and French combined.

The Dutch and Portuguese were bit players.

This genocide nonsense is just that. I have read, and I am pretty sure that this is a scholarly consensus by historians, regardless of origin, that 90% of all Native Americans, who died, died due to diseases that they had no immunity to when they encountered the European settlers.

None of the Americans alive today have anything to do with those events and if one studies human history, it will be very easy to notice that humans have been killing each other since the dawn of history.

Native Americans themselves were constantly at war with each other (tribe against tribe) and you only need to read a bit about Incas, Aztecs, Mayas etc. and realize how brutal they could be. Large scale human sacrifices (ripping out the hearts of living humans) etc. were quite common.

Spanish are good people and are our distant cousins.

This. Exactly.

And before anyone gets any bright ideas regarding slavery, allow me to neuter that though right now.

BTW, Mexican cartels seem to keep their age-old traditions alive at times. Kidding aside, this is pure trolling from the usual suspects.

As far as slavery goes, it is the same thing: it has existed across the entire world at various points in history. We should stop judging ancient and historical societies (and the people who lived during those eras) through a modern-day lens.

One hundred years from now, our descendants will probably consider us backward, or perhaps even savages, if humanity continues to progress. Or maybe we will regress. Time will tell.

I am not endorsing anything here, but everyone has skeletons in their closet.
