I'm up to 4km X 4 days per week.Exercise is a must for everyday health. A simple 30mins walk a day can be highly beneficial.

I'm averaging 16 minutes per km - moderate pace. Remember I'm 72 years oldGreat achievement, keep it up. I will also recommend you to walk at brisk pace, around 5km an hour, not slow walking, this will work on your cardio, calf and leg muscles. Try to walk outside, get fresh air and sun.
I am back to strength training as well. Not to bulk up but for the reasons listed above.
