India Economy Thread

I am an ex IITian ffs. Are you joking me with lame s..t like geometric/logarithmic growth? I can only pretend last one is "arithmetic"...I am not a "finance" or statistic guy. But I understand math. I don't need to understand stats. I do finance all too well with my job and my stock investment.

This is what happens when you can't debate about what was presented so your change the goalpost! So I have to "understand" weighted returns to grasp the idea of GDP, real growth, nominal growth, inflation etc.?

FFS, dont kid yourself in believing you know anything about finance or economics!

you dont understand the math, at all, im sorry!

dont quote or pull figures out of context!

I asked you few basic questions and all your enthusiasm only boiled down to how good you are in personal finance and stock investment!

please, spare us of you grandeur mindset and be open to scrutiny!

yeah..Read again. I just did. We are not discussing philosophy here. But clearly you are here to just argue for the sake of it.

name one economist who has separated philo. from economics!

I challenge you!

on the other, if you cant find any (bec. there are'nt atleast not in modern economics!) then find another reason to divert from the topic and basic questions about your ability to interpret numbers

only a simplest question about interpretation, led to rant about personal achievments!

I dont wish to brag!

Gap is narrowing. Today we're half of Mexico.

10 years back we were a quarter.

20 years back... 6 times less than them.

@lightoftruth
Even Mare interesting facts for you.
  • India has the world's largest population of beggars, panhandlers, and homeless and "street sleepers "
  • Of the 10.3 million illegal immigrants in the USA India is the third largest source of illegal immigrants and visa violators after Mexico and ElSalvador. Top 5 countries whose citizens are illegal immigrants into the USA Mexico : 4.2 million, El Salvador : 6,21,000, India : 5,87,000, Guatemala : 5,61,000 Honduras : 4,16,000
  • India is the only G7 country that has a visa waiver ban with respect to the other G7 country members
  • India is the only G7 country whose illegal immigrants ( known as Dunkeys) in the USA have been rounded up, and deported in chains aboard US Air Force C-17 Galaxy cargo aircraft.
  • India is the only G7 country whose citizens ( 9 million) work as indentured ex-pat labor in the GCC countries.
  • India is the only G7 country which over the last 20 years has seen an exodus of 20 million of its citizens ( mainly Hindus) to other countries; where they choose live as a diaspora minority.
  • India is the only $4 trillion GDP economy to have starvation deaths.
  • India is the only country in the world that during the Corona virus pandemic (2020-2021) threw an estimated 1 million rotting corpses of those who died into the Ganges River and other rivers
India is not even a G7 member 🤡

Spare him . @Thinking didn't do well in Maths . He can't cross multiply two. 2 X 2 Matrices. He's an ex-IITian but I doubt if he knows what Von Mises stresses are .

On that part, bring it on! Bring on Calculus, Algebra, the works! I dare you!

You didn't ask me s..t! You are just wasting everyone's time with your bs. What's next, why is e considered natural growth rate? Why can't we "integrate" e to the power x square when we can integrate e to the power x? See, questions, as stupid as yours and totally irrelavant. But hey math guy, lets exchange our calculus skill. Remind you, I graduated long time ago and my field of work is chip design. But I will bite. Lets do math thing!

okay, remember you asked it, chip BS!

explain fourier transformation and Goddel Theorem in 20 words each!

expected answer: irrelevant post!

right!

keenly waiting for your response, I hope it will come soon!

cant explain basic return nature and giving figures as if own interpretations!

Shtup!

No, he is a typical commie retard who cleverly lies around data.
1) Average of any country is richer than their poorest. So when anyone says "sub-saharan", they are not talking about average but the poorest of poor. Average of Sub-Sahara is equal of PCI of Pakistan! Is Pakistan a starving nation?
2) Indian government provides massive welfare to those "poor". From subsidies to housing to food..

1500 USD PCI by UN standard is "not starving" nor can India claim to be a rich nation since PCI is not even 3K.

I don't even understand why guys so much energy on this over working on a country whose PCI is 1500 USD!

Man why are you arguing with these guys. They neither understand economics nor they can apply it in their lives. They just post links after a quick Google search, you're wasting your time.

As for the economy all we need to do is grow at 7.5% we will double our GDP every ten years. 15 years from now we will get to $10k T.

No- theres a time when you should fix macro. and then fix micro.

Issue witrh leftists is their belief that no invetsment that doesn't immedeately trcikle down is valid. That's just plain stupid. There are times when you need the bigger investments, roads, factories and stuff. Without them there is zero chance of any trickle down,

One of the biggest issues in Indian infrastructure is how left opposed payment of tolls on highways. Build highway, no toll. Obviously neither did the govt have money to build all free highways nor was there any incentive for private sector. Are toll roads used by everyone? No. Do they help a lot of people move goods and generate jobs- of course.

and who told you there's a relationship between growth and currency strenth. In fact it's good for exports.
Is it good for your 83% energy imports which after the rupee trade Russian oil import has stopped will be exclusively in USD.
India's imports of petroleum, crude oil, and its products were estimated to be over 15 trillion Indian rupees ($167. billion), in the financial year 2025. These imports represented an increase compared to the previous year.
But you would obviously say 🎶 We have the money 🎶

Mr. Bhaskar, is'nt alone, he has years of experience, but you seem to understand better than him!

quite odd for some one, who has tall claims!

seems you are a midget!
