What Indian policymakers fail to realise is that Pakistan can procure weapons from China at low cost and in large quantities. India does not have that luxury.

Soviet Union no longer exists, and India cannot rely on foreign suppliers to sustain a prolonged conflict. India needs a military-industrial complex capable of matching the scale and production capacity of Russia or China.

That is the only way to build the industrial capacity required to fight a two-front war. I am not saying a two-front war is inevitable, but the military must prepare for that possibility regardless.

Without prioritising indigenous weapons, domestic production and self-reliance over excessive dependence on foreign imports, India risks being dangerously unprepared for such a conflict.

Okay - now staying with the 4th largest airforce getting thrashed. Sure PAF will claim victory as has been discussed beforehand but here are some facts which I (as an Indian) believe where IAF came out on top:

1) Hit targets well beyond IB, cratering runways, destroying terrorist buildings - that is indisputable
2) Successfully deployed A2G weapons to do so from long range
3) Lost a few planes (3 perhaps 4) - shouldn't have happened but the other side has right to respond and some damage will occur
4) No loss of airforce pilots - that is undisputed
5) At the end, according to India's version Pakistan DGMO asked for ceasefire. Pakistan says it was mutual - it never claimed that India asked for ceasefire. As an India, this is telling for me as if Pakistan would be winning, it would at least claim that Indian side called for ceasefire but no, only India is claiming that.

In the battle of narratives (big picture), India increased the red-lines and IAF played a role in that. To me that is success. You might see it differently...

On the contrary, the defenders couldn't do any independently verifiable damage on ground, most likely lost 1 HVT (Bholari one) and could only damage a few planes (we've heard theories of "restraint" not to escalate.

You did nothing Pakistan can't do if they chose, hit a runway wowww

Any one who knows anything about military deployments (not you obviously), will know that for every single soldier on the front you require 1 to replace him, another one in reserve and around another 4-5 in support/logistics etc

Haha based on what? Feelz? Again if we divide police force equally, there is 2 million Central Police for the Entire country, that includes Industrial safety, SSBs, CRPF, special securities like NSG, but sure quarter of them is deployed in Kashmir. And how would Indians know it yeah?
