Whatever happened in May 2025, the guy couldn't handle it. Massacre by PAF, guilt of misleading Indian people probably led him to depression and nightmares. Took his life ultimately.

Will be put back in some time, 3 sats are still working and can triangulate location. And yes, as a regional system it will have its downsides, such as even a few failures in atomic clocks can lead to loss of capability v/s benefits of being more accurate and being our own.lmao i rember harpy or raj screaming about how indian munition are better because of this
He was an IAF pilot, right? I didn't say he was some Rafale or Su-30 pilot. Plus who knows he was actually having a dispute with his wife. Indian government has a very poor record of hiding things and bending facts.Nice comedy.

IAF Eyes Su-57 Stealth Fighter with Indigenous GaN-Based AESA Radar
The Indian Air Force (IAF) is reportedly exploring a conditional acquisition of the Russian Sukhoi Su-57, but with a major caveat: the replacement of Russian avionics with a domestic digital architecture. Central to this demand is the integration of an indigenous Gallium Nitride (GaN) based AESA radar, derived from the upcoming Virupaksha program.
The shift stems from a need for "software sovereignty." By replacing the Su-57’s original N036 Byelka radar—which relies on older Gallium Arsenide (GaAs) technology—with a GaN-based system, the IAF gains superior power efficiency, lower thermal signatures, and enhanced electronic warfare resistance. More importantly, an indigenous mission computer and radar allow India to bypass "black box" restrictions, enabling the independent integration of homegrown weapons like the Astra Mk3, Rudram missiles, and BrahMos-NG.
While the Virupaksha was initially designed for the "Super Sukhoi" (Su-30MKI) upgrade, engineers are looking to adapt its 1,800+ TR modules into the Su-57’s specific nose geometry. This move signals a strategic pivot toward modular platforms that ensure India maintains long-term operational flexibility and digital independence in its stealth fleet.
