That is because the majority of the west for better or for worse feel they have no room or need of organised religion in their lives, their faith is replaced by Apple and Samsung and Sony, there is a reason majority of western elderly die alone and abandoned rotting away in old folks homes.

And having no fall back on faith and prayer, living in a consumer heavy hyper commercialised world is the reason there is rampant depression and anxiety among people in the west with very little life satisfaction.



Again the post would make this off topic but most of the refugees in the west are from nations that were once prosperous and self-sufficient and looted, raped, pillaged and left destitute by the West following their expansionism during the Industrial Era.

Hosting refugees is their penance.

No - but then look at their coastlines. So it is understood as well that the capability needed is missing.

So when you make idiotic statements regarding the number of ships in Indian coast guard you forget what it needs to do hence why its that large versus Pakistan having a small coast line and heavily dependent westward SLOCs is reliant on some pretty nifty A2/AD systems that keep Indian planners up at night. Remember, the smaller the coast - the more bottlenecks can be forced on blockade attempts.

India has more difficulties creating effective detection and kill grids than Pakistan.
 
Just fire some dud missiles at each other and get it over with.

Both sides can claim victory for all times.

And before anyone here calls Pakistan an irresponsible state - it wasn't Pakistan that managed to launch a nuclear capable cruise missile on its neighbour and chalk it down to a "Mistake"...

But people make their view on superficial and brief encounters plus propoganda or coverage...am English guy thinks I will be decent at fast bowling as if I am waqar Younis 😂

L the world is becoming exponentially scientific, so the more science you have the more respect you might get, assuming you have the basics of civilization in place


On the basics....I have disagreed with Joe and nigliri on the faulty way south Asians think of development, and self congratulate ...real development is across the board health, governances, social responsibility, taxes, understanding of social contract....that's breadth, depth will be how many are outside of this and therefore your weak link, therefore your strong link

There is clearly something different about south Asians in that they are not much better after decades but china can make leaps....that's all I'll say, as a statement not value judgement.

So in brutal unsympathetic terms, that's what they see and think, an omnipresent backwardness
