IFX Production Hangars (Assembling + Composite Manufacturing). Metal parts will use current production facility. For composite hangar and assembly facility still need more investment.
For PTDI work shares (main wing, tailplane, pylon and after fuselage parts) which have composites. Joining the KFX program is also to improve the capabilities of composite aerostructure technology in the form of CFRP. So there is a possibility that the IFX composite hangar will be used for composite other aircraft too

Two PT Dirgantara Indonesia (PT DI) products were appreciated for their development by the Minister of Transportation Budi Karya Sumadi. This appreciation was given when Budi Karya presented the Singapore Airshow 2024 in Changi, Singapore.
One of the products that caught Budi Karya's attention was the development of the Vela Alpha urban flying car. PT DI collaborates with the private company Vela Aero. For this product, Budi Karya said that PT DI is currently submitting a flightworthiness test to the Directorate of Airworthiness & Aircraft Operations (DKPPU) of the Ministry of Transportation.
"Hopefully the flightworthiness test application process for the Vela Alpha can run smoothly," said Budi Karya. Vela Alpha looks like a large drone with one pilot and four passengers. Budi Karya calls this fleet a flying car, he said the Vela Alpha is suitable as an air taxi operating in big cities.
Apart from the Vela Alpha, there is also the development of the N219 aircraft belonging to PT DI. He hopes that the aircraft, which has 45% domestic components, can continue to be developed into an amphibious version.
"I appreciate PT DI for continuing the development of the basic version of the N219 aircraft into an amphibious version at the beginning of this year. Moreover, this aircraft has almost 45 percent local content," said Budi Karya.Budi Karya added that the N219 aircraft could, in principle, support the development of connectivity and accessibility in the 3 TP (Disadvantaged, Remote, Outermost and Border) areas.
This aircraft has short take-off landing capabilities on runways that are less than 800 meters long and unpaved."As for its use, this type of aircraft can be used for various needs, from transporting passengers, logistics, medical evacuation, to flying doctors," explained Budi Karya.
He hopes that production of this type of aircraft will continue to be increased, thereby having a growth impact on the domestic industrial ecosystem, including regional industry, one of which is in terms of aircraft operations and maintenance activities.
Alhamdulillah. 80 million USD budget for KF21/IFX development cost share for 2024. This month or next month the payment will be given to South Korea inshaAllah. This is more than double the payment in February 2023. Indonesia started again its cost share payment since November 2022 but with very small amount of money.
South Korea needs to wait for new administration to be formed in October 2024 then we can talk about the overall payment as current administration can only allocate money for KF21/IFX cost share payment until 2025, but I expect 2025 payment will be double at around 200 million USD.

expressed his hope that after the modernization of 41 warships is complete, the domestic defense will be able to build destroyer type warships, even warships with anti-radar detection (stealth) technology.
