Kalo ngerakit doang sih udah. PT PAL dan GMF Aero Asia juga masuk ke industry turbin, ya masih dlm skala merakit dan mro

Talking about Turbine manufacturing, it is PT Barata Indonesia that should be considered. It has exported Turbine components to China, South Korea, and Australia, beside Pakistan and Bangladesh. There is plan to include Barata before to be part of Indonesia submarine local production by producing some local parts.

Maung Pindad is produced in PT Handal Indonesia Motor, a local manufacturing company. I dont know yet whether it is Pindad new subsidiary company, JV, or local company getting Pindad license to manufacture Maung Pindad.

Indonesia is about to make law that can strenghten its Coast Guard force (Bakamla).

This will likely be good for our Aerospace and shipping industries. US coast Guards for example has more than 30 MPA planes while Indonesia sea territory and EEZ is bigger than USA sea territory and EEZ.

This will also likely be potential customer for Indonesian Aerospace new development program which are N219 Amphibious and Elang Hitam MALE drone ( surveilance capability ) aside of current products of CN235 MPA, NC212i MPA, N219 MPA planes (with InfoGlobal system). R80 program will also likely be one of the programs that can take advantage of the new law to strengthen our coast guard.

This will make our Navy focus more on its combat role.
