This one is run of a river type so will hardly cause any real or imaginary problem for Pakistan other than probably raised anxiety levels for few.820 MW Kirthai-II is the third hydroelectric project planned on the Chenab to receive approvals since the suspension of the Indus Water Treaty.
Once China fully establishes itself and the US becomes stable after the current admin is gone, we can expect the rule of the law will restored.A number of explanations for this chatter.
Most likely, this nation of delusionalists probably has realised that diversion of water with underground canals is beyond their capabilities either absolutely or, at least, expeditiously. Perhaps the best they can hope for is some project 40-50 years down the line, during which time Pakistan will remain unharmed. Over that same period though, Pakistan's squeeze on their aerospace industry will remain critical and decisive. By the time they can even begin to apply this river leverage, their airlines may start to actually go bust.
Hence they are panicking now, as (like always) they are making threats on something they are nowhere near ready to deliver on.
If the CLOWNS in charge of our government would simply call their bluff, we would see this play out.
Indeed, why on earth would this qom that wants us all dead suddenly seek a "conversation" on ANY matter? Is it not obvious that they are feeling significant economic pain? Does anyone here (apart from "Aman ki asha" loonies) ACTUALLY BELIEVE that Delhi is suddenly wanting to be our friend just for the sake of peace and harmony? Seriously?
Money diverted to missiles to blow up dams. This much should be obvious to the napaak qom to our east by now.Why budget allocation reduced if Indus waters are so existential for Pakistan?

There is no doubt that Pakistan will, as always, do whatever it believes is necessary to safeguard its national interests. But if the grand plan is military strikes, that would be a spectacular exercise in self sabotage, inviting retaliation on a scale Pakistan can ill afford. A better course of action would be to hand over all known living terrorists to India, many of whom, arguably, would eventually be eliminated through India's covert operations anyway. While at it, It must also return all of Indian territory under its control, renegotiate the Indus Waters Treaty (IWT) in good faith & work toward building a peaceful, cooperative relationship with India so peace & prosperity can prevail in Indian subcontinent for centuries to come.![]()
Dams on Chenab — a target?
By holding the IWT in abeyance, India itself has withdrawn the traditional protection accorded to dams and dykes.share.google

It will go where the sun don't shine.Apart from providing a juicy casus belli that will wipe off whatever 3 3/4 dams Pakistan has, where do you think all that water from destroyed dams in the upper riparian will flow???

They are deserved to the starved out just like good ole Churchill did.
Take a look at their “highly educated” foreign minister and look at how he talks, no different than your average street sh*tter come running here.
Just look at Lindsey Grahams body language after “laser eyes” talks like he’s acting in a Bollywood movie like some main character energy tough guy. This is an international forum mind you.
