There is no doubt that Pakistan will, as always, do whatever it believes is necessary to safeguard its national interests. But if the grand plan is military strikes, that would be a spectacular exercise in self sabotage, inviting retaliation on a scale Pakistan can ill afford. A better course of action would be to hand over all known living terrorists to India, many of whom, arguably, would eventually be eliminated through India's covert operations anyway. While at it, It must also return all of Indian territory under its control, renegotiate the Indus Waters Treaty (IWT) in good faith & work toward building a peaceful, cooperative relationship with India so peace & prosperity can prevail in Indian subcontinent for centuries to come.

History’s great powers didn’t spend their time writing surrender terms on their rivals’ forums. They achieved their objectives and dictated the outcome.

Dude India honored this so called unjustifiable treaty for too long, thr is no other upper and lower riparian treaty like this , ur frnds Chinese, Turkey and Iran are doing much much worst to lower ripirians.
India took so much proxy wars, terrorism and wars from pakistan,
Thr is no international law for India to bind.

Second: India is not likely to attack China for such a project, while Pakistan is more likely to do something about what India is doing, should the impact be considered unbearable. For India, during its critical demographic dividend moment to attract investment, being seen as in a water war probably only make it look increasingly like a hostile investment climate, as there are many techniques Pakistan could employ against India during the time between now and 2047; ending in India being locked into growing old before it can grow wealthy.

When India politely asked for renegotiation of the treaty few years ago we got an arrogant no. No mending of their policies vis-a-vis India and supporting terrorism in India.

When India quashed IWT and said deal with it, a typical "DABDA" response with a witty humor.
'oh, the water diverted is so miniscule", " oh, we have enough buffer", "oh, China will divert India's share of water"
essentially accepting that there is no response from their side.

Its funny to see the Pakistanis in this forum who still believe that they can bring India to the negotiation table. The bus is long gone.

Just learn to live with the consequences.

Bring India to the negotiating table? Paj fella, your leaders are now asking for talks.

India can "cancel" any treaty they want, we will wait for Indian actions not words. If I believed everything the Indian Government claimed there would be 200-300 Tejas flying all over Punjab right now.
Best keep the chest thumping for actions, not words like "Isolate Pakstan" or "Things would be different with Rafale"

Thought you lot would have learnt this lesson by now,, but much to Pakistan's benefit, you lot never seem to learn.....
