Is this necessarily a bad thing ? To me it shows that when America talks with Iran and seeks agreement, problems go away but when America attacks Iran, problems multiply. Eventually this reality will penetrate Mr Trump's thick skull.

I don't know much about military hardware.
Here is the article.

The U.S. Army has used up much of its stockpile of highly accurate long-range missiles during its five-month war with Iran, according to three people familiar with the data, raising concerns about the military's readiness for future conflicts.
The missiles are principally the Army's surface-to-surface weapons, known as Army Tactical Missile Systems (ATACMS) and Precision Strike Missiles (PrSM). The U.S. has used "virtually all" of these weapons, according to two of the sources.

The ‌degree to which the military is running out of ATACMS and Precision Strike Missiles has not been previously reported.
The long-range munitions are an important part the military's arsenal, allowing accurate strikes from a safe distance. U.S.-supplied ATACMS have played a key role in the war in Ukraine, allowing Ukrainian forces to attack targets inside Russia. The PrSM is a newer, more advanced generation that will replace the ATACMS, which have a shorter range.
Analysts say such weapons – which cost over $1 million each – would also be important in any conflict with China.
The sources declined to say how many of each munition the U.S. had left.

President Donald Trump launched the Iran war jointly with Israel in February, predicting that the conflict would last a short time.
But as the war drags on, the three people familiar with the matter expressed worry that the falling missile supplies could limit the U.S. ability to deter adversaries, including Russia and China.
A fourth person familiar with the matter said that while Central Command — which oversees U.S. forces in the Middle East — has nearly used up the land-based missiles it had before the war began, it has been able to reload from U.S. military supplies elsewhere in the world.
The sources interviewed for this story spoke on the condition of anonymity.
Asked for comment on the stockpile data, the White House issued a statement from Trump, saying the U.S. had “far more munitions than anyone in the world" and "far more than we need."

"Our defense companies are, at this moment, making more munitions than they have ever made before, in addition to expanding their plants and equipment at record levels," Trump said.
Analysts agree that certain munitions, including artillery shells and several types of missiles, are being produced at record levels but caution that supplies might far short of what is needed for a prolonged war.
Lockheed Martin, which makes the ATACMs and PrSMs, along with the anti-ballistic missile THAAD system, did not immediately respond to questions about Trump's statements or about supply levels. Raytheon, which makes Tomahawk missiles and Patriot interceptors, two important U.S. weapons, also did not immediately respond.
Good article. The dwindling stockpile of standoff missiles, interceptors, high price of energy and its inflationary pressures, horizontal escalation by Iranians and allies, the overall failure of the war plan and the deep unpopularity of this war of choice, are the cumulative reasons Mr Trump has been hesitant to relaunch the war.

Iranian strategy to avoid full blown conflict and just wear down the US is working.

If it was going to penetrate his thick skull, it would have done so already.

I am convinced every time Netanyahu visits Washington DC, the war efforts against Iran intensify. Trump is completely fickle and working at the behest of Israel/Netanyahu, even if it costs him his political career. At this point, I’m even willing to believe Jared Kushner (his son-in-law) is really his local handler.

1. High oil prices represent Iran's last remaining tool to exert pressure on the collective West. The West shows little concern for the lives of GCC Arabs. Elevated energy prices serve as a protective barrier, allowing Tehran to carve out diplomatic opportunities to negotiate a favorable outcome in this conflict.

2. The West is capable of maintaining this on/off conflict indefinitely, especially with low global energy prices. On the other hand, Iran cannot endure this level of pressure for long. Eventually, the Iranian state will falter if this war does not conclude on terms that are advantageous to them.

3. The SoH functions as Iran's 'nuclear weapon' in that it presents a 'use it or lose it' scenario. Over the next decade, it is likely to become largely irrelevant, as no GCC nation or Iraq is inclined to allow Iran to hold such leverage over them ever again.

Iran shouldn’t be giving exemptions to Russian or Chinese ships. Both countries supported UN Security Council sanctions on Iran for decades. Neither are cash strapped countries.

The Minuteman and Trident are a last resort, should any country launch a nuclear first strike against the US mainland
Iran can't touch a inch of USA mainland.

But Iran has whole intention to sink USA warships, they didnt do it because they can't, but if someday USA runs out of weapons in warships near to Iran, it could happen.

American warships sinking near to Iran coast, it's a scenario that reminds Pearl Harbor, and Pearl Harbor was the justification to the only one real use of nukes.

How ?
you either mean that GCC will take control of Hormuz OR they gonna find a new route for their oil shipments , right?
They can't control Hormuz, they don't have the capability to do it (Alone).
And
A new route means they either use a land pipeline through Saudi to Syria then Mediterranean (which is highly risky due to the conflicts in Syria) or to Red sea then through bab El-Mandab ( where Houthis are there) or through the red to Egypt ( where we gonna milk them so badly).

“If Iran had the chance, it would wipe us off the face of the earth,” said Hamada Qrada, 52, a barber. “God willing, may the oppressors destroy one another and stay far away from us.” 🤪
Not just this barber, in fact this is the most common Arab view and sentiment for Shia and Iran.

No matter what and how much Iran/Shias would do to confront the common enemy, this ungrateful bunch would only become satisfied if Shias were to disappear.

I would say they definitely deserve the Zionist whip on their sorry asses. Leave them for good.

I think that is one among multiple opinions documented in the article. It reflects an extremist mindset and the winners of such sectarianism and extremism are foreign forces and domestic autocrats. We should stay away from it.

Remember that bulk of Muslim countries are dictatorships with brainwashed populations.

Agree fully. Besides, they can pay a few dollars a barrel. As everybody will.

I agree. But... are you sure that prices are not being manipulated?.

If China is not buying that much oil, and also US and EU are just using strategic reserves that means that western countries (plus China) are manipulating prices.

I am not an expert in oil trade, but, I am suspicious, can somebody check if strategic reserves of western countries are being used or the evolution of their stock?.

Just asking. I have no idea.
