The truth is that they're encircling Iran with the help of Turkey and the sooner Iran signs a deal with the US and at least covertly normalizes its relations with Israel, the better.

No disrespect to people from Turkey or Pakistan here, but I said from the very beginning of the war that the Pakistani system could not be trusted and they weren't friendly towards Iran.

Yeah, why not ask your government first how friendly and cooperative Pakistan has been to Iran since the war.

Kurdish separatism is the biggest threat to Iran and the Western Asia. If it were up to me, Kurdish separatists wouldn't sleep one night without getting their nightly dose of missiles and drones.

As you may be aware, I hold your opinion in high regard. Given your statements, could you clarify why the leadership of IRI chose not to support Turkey in its regional battle against Kurdish terrorism? There was a period in the past, prior to Turkey's advancements in defense technology, when Ankara nearly implored Tehran for collaborative cross-border operations against these groups.

They were ready to form mixed battlegroups and share military command to combat PKK and PJAK. Instead, IRI opted to tolerate, and at times even assist, these groups in their opposition to Turkey.

You know, currently, the relationship between Iran and Turkey increasingly mirrors that of China and Russia in some ways. The era of Soviet dominance over China or the Shah's military deterrence against Turkey has faded away. Not because Turkey is so incredibly smart or eloquent but because of incomprehensible policy decisions made by Iran in the past.

However, a Turkish attack on Iran is unimaginable. The public would not tolerate this AT ALL; even if Saudi Arabia is attacked by Iran. Remember, Turkey didn't come to Qatar's aid even though a similar defense agreement exists already. The Qataris being on the attacking USA camp was reason enough to not get involved. Yes, they tested a few Turkish AD systems in Doha but that was very limited and not worth mentioning.

Let's not forget that Turkey paved the way for attacking Iran by overthrowing Assad, which happened behind the scenes with the blessing of Russia. Soon, Turkey and Saudi Arabia will interfere in Lebanon and Iraq as well. Iran should be wise and make the right decision before it loses even more of its cards in the region.

I am pleased that you recognize Russia's involvement in this situation unlike many, many Iranians. However, it is important to note that Turkey was fully prepared to collaborate and share influence & power in Syria with Iran up until the end. It was pro-Russian Assad himself, who, like his pro-Soviet father, chose to disregard Iran's counsel. Have you ever considered why Iran's reaction to Turkey removing Assad was virtually absent?

Have you already forgotten how Iran publicly criticised Assad's refusal to meet Erdoğan? How Tehran tried to remove Assad at least two times that we know of?

Credible Turkish sources state that Ankara's proposal to Tehran was sincere, and they did not anticipate that Assad would collapse so fast.

There is a reason the Assad family has chosen to reside in Moscow rather than Tehran.
