since when Israel has 10 megaton nuclear weapons? yield of Israeli nukes is likely similar to Trident SLBM of c. 475 kt
I don't overestimate anything, all my calculations are from DeepSeek using known parameters
I am talking about a city you are talking about an air base. they are not comparable in any way
not just critical infrastructure but total destruction of entire cities.
this doesn't have radiation so maybe it's not as bad as nuclear attack. ok. but it's at least something to think about for them. I don't think anyone will rush to total destroy their cities
OK. I will address two of your points.
1. Why do I think Israel has the capability to hit Tehran with 10 megaton nuclear weapons?
2. Why is it impossible to destroy an entire city with a barrage of ballistic missiles?
To answer your first question, first of all, when it comes to war, you always have to prepare for the worst scenario. Possession of 10 megaton nukes by Israel is not even remotely close to the worst scenario.
You have to understand that basically everything we publicly know about nuclear weapons, from fission weapons, to thermonuclear weapons and neutron weapons, were discovered by Jewish/Zionist scientists. The Manhattan project was basically a gathering of Jews working on a way to destruct the world. Oppenheimer, Teller, Ulam, Von Neumann, Feynman, even Einstein who contributed only indirectly, they all were Jewish and pro-Israel. So, that's one argument for why Israel most likely has megaton nuclear weapons. It just happens to be that nuclear weapons have been invented by Zionists.
Secondly, 10 megaton is a pretty low threshold for thermonuclear weapons. The US broke that threshold in early 50s with the Castle Bravo test. The design that made that possible was again a completely Jewish (Teller-Ulam) design. But then again, Israel doesn't need to use that destructive power in one warhead. Most importantly, they could hit Tehran with multiple megaton nukes. Why not? They have over 200 warheads and I'm sure many of them are well over 100 kilotons. The US has over 3,000 warheads and can/will provide them with whatever they need.
Thirdly, you have to understand that unlike Iran that thinks nukes are haram (rofl), nuclear destruction of the nemesis is at the heart of Israel's deterrence policy. Israel is probably the only country in the world with something like the Samson option. They do not shy away from talking about it. In fact, Netanyahu himself has talked about wiping Iran off the map before. We both know that, again unlike Iran, Israel does not like half measures. So, one would logically assume that if they decide to nuke Tehran, they would not use a 50 kiloton nuke to leave some parts of Tehran intact. They would go for complete destruction instead.
Fourthly, if there is one country that is absolutely confident about using nukes and getting away with it, that would be Israel. As we speak, Israel is committing genocide and ethnic cleansing in Palestine and nobody is raising a finger. All world powers, with the exception of China, are supporting Israel. So, if push comes to shove, Israel may very well choose to commit genocide against Iran as well.
As for the second part of your post, first of all, you need to show the parameters you are feeding DeepSeek. Satellite imagery from the aftermath of Iran's attack Nevatim Airbase shows minimal damage. Only 3 structures have been more or less completely destroyed. That's less than even .1% of the area of the airbase.
Secondly, if you can't flatten an airbase, how do you plan to completely destroy a city?
The radiation part is the least difficult part of the problem. You can always use dirty bombs on the enemy. It's not only radiation. It's destructive power that is very unbalanced in your equation.
