Honestly, I'm always against the idea that a single person can ruin an entire system if the system is not corrupt to the core, and if there are enough rational internal players to provide fail-safe mechanisms in the system.

I think we are back to the time of Qajar, the only difference is that this time we are better educated in science and technology, but still quite gullible and uniformed (as a nation) about the schemes and plots that they have planned for us. We have two opposing groups who serve different power blocs in the world. Khamenei and his shills who serve the interests of Russia, and the reformists, currently led by Rohani, formerly led by Rafsanjani, who serve the interests of the collective West.

Khamenei is possibly the easiest target to lay all the blame on, and he obviously deserves most of it, but he isn't the only factor that we have reached where we are now. A lot of people could've stopped this madness, but preferred to play along with it to keep their interests intact and they thought the status quo would continue for the foreseeable future as long as Iran did not cross the red lines of world powers directly.

Tsarist Russia was perhaps the world's leading power in military and even Russia briefly went through the same period of foreign interference, confusion and disarray, betrayal and even civil war (Red and White armies) before Stalin finally came to power and stabilized the country. Lenin openly called for foreign interference in Tsarist Russia to gain power and bring him back to Russia, sort of like today's Reza Pahlavi. Will Iran be able to do the same in future? Probably, but I'm not optimistic at all.

Again, I hear you....it's hard to blame a grandfather, you know what I mean? He means well, but obviously, he's out of his league. Seriously, I like him and respect him, but the world is a dangerous place and he's not equipped for it, none of the clergy should be in charge of defense and intelligence apparatus. We need professionals, talented people in those field doing the leading.

People love to shit on Qajars but remember it was them who rejoined 7 parts of Iran to re-create the empire. Mohammad Khan Qajar destroyed enemies of Iran. Abbas Mirza and his brother Dowlatshah destroyed Ottomans so bad they could not touch Iran again ever. Later ones were shits but thats what happens to empires. They were by no means traitors or weak otherwise Iran would have been a fractured state at the end of Afshar empire. They fought like lions against Tsarist Russian army to save Azerbaijan and Armenia. Failed yes but even the royals themselves died defending the country. Even the last one Ahmad Shah had enough political sanity that he knew he was weak to deal with crisis at borders and inside so he preferred to leave rather than stick to the crown like Khamenei. It was his decision to leave that brought out lion hearted Reza Khan to regather Iran from post WWI crisis.

Current Iran is lacking such a hero who can come out and drain the swamp to get rid of traitors or dysfunctional IRI system altogether. Soleimani showed such independent sentience but was burnt out from inside Iran. Probably Raisi was also showing these signs so was killed as well. Iran is just too previous for foreign powers to be left alone and IRI is favored by both blocks of the world because they are ensuring that Iran does not create its own pole like it always has in past.





Agreed, he is just one man which is why I call the IRI system to be dysfunctional by default, a socialist theocracy. Problem with Khamenei is that he has sat upon this system for close to 4 decades now, he could have turned Iran into Japan or France of ME if he was sincere. He had absolute power. Instead he focused on pitting reformists vs conservatives, politicising nuclear program, making policies that surprisingly always benefitted Russia in the end.

IRI is a shit show of hundreds of idiots. Khamenei just happens to be the biggest of them all.

What I would like to hear from Iranians is that yes, we need a functional, professional government......but I don't agree with us needing a strongman, we need a good system, first. A strongman could lead us down the path of dictatorship, and too many people died getting rid of the Shah, and too many people died defending our post Shah country......we don't need to turn time back, we need to forge ahead with a better system.

I watched an analysis by a Pentagon official . He clearly stated that the entire planning was done at the Pentagon. They had built these groups inside Iran for years . 90% of the attacks were from inside Iran. American and Israeli jet into the Iranian airspace from Iraq to Isfahan. They probably from in from the north as well .
People need to understand that this is the post ceasefire psychological war .
They are vicious, calculating murders. All these have been calculated in advance and they’re being played out one after another. All of these anonymous accounts that pop up on X who they keep posting short clips of what appears to be afighter jet flying during a day.

These are the same people that have started a smearing campaign against one of their own veterans who put his life on the line. Tony Aguilar called out the murder of the five-year-old Palestinian boy who was shot in the head execution style by the IDF.

That's what happens when you keep your population innocent and easily fooled by outsiders. Iranian traitors, I almost feel sorry for them....I wonder how many of them were duped into believing they're actually helping their country.

You're absolutely correct.....Ritter, and recently the Green Beret guy Aguilar that just came out about what's going in Gaza, all of them fell into the Israeli smear machine. Think about, it could've happened to me or any single dude,.....a hot girl send you a message, asking your opinion on something, or telling how much she enjoys your lectures..etc. And then it goes on from there.
