As a Syrian, care to elaborate on the general sentiment of the Syrians about this war? What do they think about it? I know it is opinion-based, but I thought you might be able to share some information about it.

We'll happily just sit on the sideline and watch both sides go at it, the vast majority are not very fond of either side.
Most importantly, the entire population is deeply against our involvement for any reason, and the government knows this well, they sense the strong opposition against joining any conflict at the moment, theres no appetite for anymore violence from any segment of the population.
This is why despite the heavy Zio propaganda and constant US pressure pushing for us to go into Lebanon and pacify Hezbollah, knowing full well how much we hate them at the moment and how it can easily be justified by the government, Sharaa still rejected this effort and is doing his best to remain out of it:
