@maverick @lightning f57 - this!!! Is the reason Iran could enter a military alliance with Pakistan - Islamim combined with a strong sense of self confidence and independence!! As things are currently ,Iran will never join any alliance with Turkey,because it is NATO controlled and will become a Trojan against Iran if turkey and Iran formed any military alliance. similar with Saudia- it's too integrated into US military architecture, for heaven sakes it was providing logistics for US attacks on iran- until Saudia learns to be and act independently, Iran will never join any military alliance (let's forget their low competence that won't hell Iran either). Egypt is also too much under US influence and control for Iran to form any alliance with them. it's naive and confusing that some people think being Muslim and geographically located in the ME alone will qualify countries to be in a super Islamic military alliance. It's a lot more complex and ideological than that. With the decline of the US and Israel, the Western allied Muslim countries are more of a liability to other Muslim countries and could easily crumble in the near future - be warned.

Iran should allow Oman to grant passage papers when the Strait is open. Have the papers be Omani-Iranian Co-operation Passage Papers. This would get acceptance of control over Hormuz and give a way to get passage without Iranian clearance.

Now a further question arises with regards to whether or not the listed articles will be delivered on in real terms. That remains a fair question to ask. Of that I am not particularly confident. So, my declaration of an Iranian victory remains wholly dependent on delivery of the stated terms.

U still on this ‘wait and see’ mantra, while Trumps butt has been battered red raw, forcing him to sign humiliating terms of the MOU which even in the best case scenario give nothing more to the US than what they had under the Obama Accord.

We do actually agree on the first part of your statement.

What we probably don't agree on is that even to reach the point where this MoU exists or was even dreamt up, let alone is formally on the table, is a victory in and of itself for Iran. Iran was not given a chance at survival from day 1. Iran was supposed to yield unconditional surrender. Yet, survive they did and draft MoU's they also did.

This is what annoyed Senator Bill Cassidy et al. Iran was never supposed to even reach this position.

Several attempts at military domination must have been attempted and thwarted. We know fragments of what happened - the failure of the Kurdish insurrection, the failure of the Pahlavist street war, the failed efforts at airspace dominance, the failure of regime change, the failure to militarily secure The Strait of Hormuz, the possibility of a failed SpecOps raid at Esfahan. The true full facts of these failures will naturally be suppressed by USA but there is enough to reasonably assume, on balance of probabilities, that something must have gone awry from USA's initial plans that they are now forced to even entertain this particular MoU.

You create leverage to use it, not create leverage endlessly for the sake of just creating leverage. Do you realize the possibility that the US and Iran could be on the road for rapprochement and what a strategic setback for Israel that could be ?

Why would it be a setback for Israel when US would only have a rapprochement with an Iran that is unable and unwilling to threaten Israel regional hegemony?

A US that has excellent or good enough relations with Turkey, GCC, Pakistan and Iran in the Mideast has no use for Israel or India.

Good relations or good control over? so far and unfortunately ,US doesn't have good relations with any non white country unless they are subservient or never challenge US in any serious or relevant ways. Respectfully !
