Even if there are intact GBU-57 in Fordow waiting to be picked up and reverse engineered, Iran has no delivery system capable of delivering GBU-57 besides transport planes which would be useless

Giving it to China in exchange of some technology or aircrafts would be good

As for Tomahawks, i doubt Iran has any interest of reversing tomahawk, it already have 1700km range Paveh and many other subsonic cruise missiles

Then think about it, if Iran falls, no matter how much you bought it, it will be lost to you. You have just lost what you invested in South America, Panama, Venezuela, what happened to your investment! The next domino is Cuba!

Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said today that the presence of the CENTCOM commander made no difference to the essence of any talks, having been told the commander was there to visit on of their own ships.

“There was a request from the American side for him to be present during what I mentioned – that customary, polite encounter that usually takes place – but we categorically opposed it,” Araghchi stated, noting that Iran didn’t accept the presence of a military official in their negotiating process.

Araghchi said that during the talks, a direct meeting didn’t take place, but there was an encounter out of diplomatic courtesy.

“When delegations enter, there was at least a handshake and an initial courtesy – this used to happen in the past as well,” Arachchi noted, continuing: “In all past rounds, negotiations were conducted indirectly, but regardless, either upon entry or exit, the two delegations would encounter each other.”

Araghchi said that it wasn’t strange at all coming across the other delegation during talks, stating that there was a common practice in observing diplomatic courtesies.

Commenting on the progress of the talks, Araghchi said: “I believe that if our conclusion is that this seriousness exists on the opposing side, these negotiations continue, but if there are signs that this serious exists, but the signs are faint.”

Araghghi noted that the continuation of certain sanctions and some activities in the military sphere created doubt as to the seriousness and readiness of the US side for genuine negotiations, but they were monitoring everything, and then would evaluate all the signs together to make a decision regarding the continuation of the negotiations.

IRAN FM ON PEACE TALKS:

Foreign Minister Araghchi spoke later to cameras, saying: “Why have we insisted on enrichment so much, and are not willing to give it up, even if war is imposed on us? Because no one has the right to tell us what we should and shouldn’t have.”

“This is based on the principle of negotiation of domination – we have the right to enrich,” Araghchi added.

“If there are questions, we answer; if there is no trust, we can create trust, but no one has the right to tell us that you shouldn’t have it because I want it so,” Araghchi said.

Araghchi continued: “Enrichment is important, but besides that, it is more important that the Islamic Republic of Iran proves that it does not take orders and does not accept domination from anyone.”

According to Araghchi, if there is any question, any ambiguity regarding the goals of Iran’s peaceful nuclear program, then Iran will answer, to resolve through ambiguity, and the only way is through diplomacy.

“They tried other ways, but it didn’t work, they bombed our facilities but the results they wanted was not achieved – knowledge cannot be destroyed by bombing – technology cannot be destroyed,” Araghchi said, adding that there is no other option to negotiate, and this is what the American team were told a “couple of days ago.”

Araghchi said: “Negotiations will only come to fruition when the rights of the Iranian people are acknowledged and respected and we can exercise our rights,” adding that Iran’s rights are official and existed, so Iran wanted their rights to be respected: “Iran’s power lies in its ability to resist bullying, hegemony, and pressure from others.”

“They are afraid of our atomic bomb, but we are not looking for an atomic bomb, our atomic bomb is the power to say no to great powers, and their military deployment in the region does not scare us – we are people of diplomacy, but we are also people of war – we are not looking for war, but we are ready to fight if we are challenged,” Araghchi warned.

In closing, Araghchi continued: “We are diplomatic because we have logic on our side, because we choose words, we are logical – if they choose the path of diplomacy, we will do the same – if they speak to Iran with respect, we will respond with respect, but if they speak with force, we will respond with force.”

The U.S. Navy Independence-class littoral combat ship USS Santa Barbara has carried out a live-fire maritime gunnery exercise in the Persian Gulf, supported by U.S. Air Force A-10 Thunderbolt aircraft.

A-10's exercising in the Persian Gulf - maybe to work out how to counter the drones, and small ships/boats that could be used for mass attacks ?

The counter of course, is MANPADS.
 
Iran needs till Spring/Summer to recover to pre-war state

By next year will have 3,000 missiles able to reach Israel

Israel wants to do repeat attacks on Iran to get it down to low level and disrupt manufacturing capability

It requires to have US missile defense nexus deployed in region to do minimize damage on Israel

At least for first, second, and maybe third time. After that, may be able to conduct routine smaller strikes regularly on Iran. But will still have to take account US interests in region.

Last week, I reported that the United States had begun a significant deployment of ground forces to the Middle East by air, citing as one example a 747 operated by the U.S. Transportation Command, configured to carry 453 people, departing from Baltimore.

For this, I was accused of exaggerating and told there was no way the U.S. would launch any kind of ground invasion of Iran.

I can now confirm that the U.S. is indeed shipping M1A1 Abrams tanks to the Middle East, specifically to Jordan. (Image #2)

If the U.S. has no intention of entering Iran by land, why are we sending main battle tanks to Jordan?

I suspect the U.S. intends to seize the Iranian oil and gas fields. The map below shows that almost all of these fields are located in the far west of the country. (Image #3)

From the border with Armenia (where U.S. military equipment and troops are also flowing in) to the vicinity of the Kuwaiti border (where other U.S. forces are flowing in), and all the way to Bandar Abbas (facing the Persian Gulf and all our major Middle Eastern military bases/U.S. allies).

It seems to me that if we seize the Iranian oil and gas fields, the entire Iranian government will collapse within a week or two.

No long, drawn-out war.

This is just a guess, based on publicly available images and news reports.

It's not about special events. Trump is a narcassist. He does not like long term wars. Trump prefers quick operations where he can achieve something quickly then get back to being center of attention and spoken out for other achievements/drama.

If there was a suistained campaign in Iran, he would be livid being questioned about it on a daily basis while having rest of his legacy be ignored. He will get most flack if it becomes a forever war.

The operation US did in Yemen was more so lead by his administration and US allies. Also meant to test US Navy capabilities before any attack on Iran. Those Yemeni strikes at the sea were actually hurting shipping insurance rates and greatly increasing costs, damaging US logistics industry.

Now keep in mind compared to Israel, the number of people killed in Yemen were around 150-300. During those two months. Israel killed 30,000 people in Gaza from Oct-December. Shows you how satanic and evil Israel is, and that Israel literally sought to exterminate an entire nation...

US was doing average of 30-50 strikes per day in Yemen.

I don't know how many naval assets that required. US military claimed to hit 1,000 targets during that duration.

US was sensitive to the humanitarian crisis in Yemen and general state of being in Yemen. And didn't go out to get people.

In Iran there would be a mix of refuelers and bombers. US would commit to hundreds of strikes a day for two months if Trump signs off on a big operation. Iran would have to fight back with it's full force. Iran has much bigger capacity to hurt US forces and stunt global energy supply than Houthi's do.

Trump is unlikely to commit to such a large operation that could drag on.

His safest bet is Israel does a repeat attack then both sides call it quits until later in summer 2026. And US restarts talks again while Iran is in weaker position.

Obviously US military doctrine has changed. They will not do regime change forever wars anymore. Analytics play big part in today's decisions. They'll try to come up with something rapid and most cost effective. If they can't, they simply won't commit to it. It seems likely they simply don't have good options when it comes to regime change.
 
Israel wants to screw the US and US taxpayer so badly

If any such war is initiated, Israel will disappear during it, leaving consequences to Iran, Arab states, Turkey, Pakistan, the United States and others.

Everyone would be significantly weakened and refugees would apply enormous economic pressure on these states leaving only Israel on top at the end of it all

No one but Israel stands to gain from such a war. And Israel views other ethnicities in the region's losses as wins for it

It doesn't care how many Americans die. All that matters it every other non-Jewish ethnicity in region get screwed so the Jewish ethnicity can dominate because it naturally cannot without introducing unnatural events to the region to harm others
