Lots of mental gymnastics again. Nobody said we didn't need missiles. That's a cheap strawberry argument and an attempt at deflection.Unlike you, I don't think that people on PDF get to set policy for Iran's armed forces. You can dream about a fancy airforce that can defeat F-22s and F-35s all you want but that was never an option. if Anyone in Iran was dumb enough to think that they didn't need the IRGC's missile force because the air force could handle it, we would have already lost this war!
We spent at least 50 f*cking billion dollars in Syria, and possibly another tens of billions on our proxy militias in the last 3 decades. Do you know how many jet fighters we could've purchased and maintained for that money? There were people who insisted that investing in the IRIAF was a mistake because it would lose anyway! And you're repeating their nonsense here again but you ask who said that?
There were people like @Mr Iran Eye, who you think of very highly, that tried to spin the cowardly hiding of the IRIAF during the 12-day war as some sort of genius tactic and insisted that the IRIAF was fine and will make us all ashamed when the real war breaks out.
