Iran - Israel/US War: Israel-US declare war on Iran, Iran responds

When it concerns Israel, I agree with you 100%, but things start to get tricky when Saudi Arabia gets involved. It's sort of like a love triangle.

Also, Pakistan wants to, and has to, maintain good relations with the US and I don't blame you for that. It's only reasonable and fair to pursue your interests.

More than KSA, it's Iran's own policies that make things tricky. I am quite sure Iran would have similar opinions about Pakistan's policies, and they might actually be true as well. But for Pakistan, Iran's tilt towards India has been problematic since the fall of the Shah, and the anti-Pakistan militants and RAW agents often operating from Iranian soil haven't helped the matter either. Despite this, Pakistan is quite possibly the only country in the immediate neighborhood holding relatively favorable views for Iran, regardless of regime type and its policies.

If KSA ever influenced Pakistan's Iran policy, then quite possibly you would have had a hostile Pakistan to your East, and it would be acting either passively or worse, antagonistically, during the current conflict, much like the Gulf states. What you instead have is Pakistan's balancing act beyond its best. We have never seen such diplomatic maneuvering in our history, not even for Pakistan's own sake, just to end the conflict that we are not directly part of.

Do you think KSA doesn't want us to drop bombs on Iran while it targets its oil fields? They would love for us to do that. Yet, Islamabad and Rawalpindi stay awake late in the night discussing peace plans with both Washington and Tehran. Iran should learn to discern between friends and exploiters.

Edit: Long before KSA, Iran was Pakistan's strategic ally.

Unfortunately, Iran's reputation among cn citizens is not very good.
This is due to distrust and negative feelings stemming from the long history of Iran's foolish actions, such as dreaming of a pro-US stance only to be betrayed by the US.
The decisive blow was Iran's foolish signing of the JCPOA and its inaction after Trump abrogated it.
Compared to North Korea, there is a harsh view that Iran is reaping what it sowed for its own folly in selling out its sovereignty, and few praise its efforts.

I don't think so. That is not how wars are fought. Flawed logic by this X post.
This X poster is quite an avid supported of Iran though.

I don't think poster is wrong in saying that. Iran has not been going aggressive on Israel's assets based on OSINT. Just hope that I am proven wrong and Iran goes all out on energy facilities after this incident.

Yes, I was referring to a much more recent cooperation though.

China has reportedly sold Saudi Arabia DF-13 and DF-21 missiles. China has also been helping Saudi Arabia create underground missile bases.
Yes. At the request of Saudi Arabia, China replaced 35 DF-3A missiles with 35 DF-21s at a price of 60 billion US dollars. This gives Saudi Arabia the power to attack Israel and Türkiye.

Iran is only 1300 kilometers away from Saudi Arabia. It is obvious that Saudi Arabia's target for spending $60 billion to upgrade the range of its ICBM is not Iran.

Well, another reason is that Saudi Arabia's $60 billion offer was indeed too tempting. And at that time, relations between Turkey and China.

If Iran cannot reciprocate today's attack on our petrochemical industry by Israel by the end of today, things will start to look very bad for Iran.

Why? That logic makes no sense to me. This is a war, not a theatrical exhibition either.

This is not a badminton match where you have to keep matching otherwise you are out of the game.

Iran, should respond when it is ready to do so, and when it can incur a real cost on the enemy....

Hitting Israel’s petrochemical does very little strategically. They won’t be deterred. But I’m sure Iran will try. Iran hit Haifa badly in 12 war and has some smaller success hits during this war. Neither did much to stop Israeli aggression.

The wild card here is the last major oil player — Saudi Arabia that is still pumping an estimated 7MBPD and exporting 5MBPD thru the Red Sea. Halting that production will truly create a far greater energy crisis that will lead to the end of the war.

Tit for Tat with Israel won’t go anywhere. they won’t stop.

And these “spies” walk around deep inside missile cities counting missiles and drones?

There is absolutely no need to do that & you know it.

Intelligence & intelligence assessments are two different things.

You do realise Pakistan has a strategic relationship with China & a very good relationship with North Korea too. Also there may not be cooperation at tactical & even operational levels between Pakistan & Iran but you can rest assured there is wink wink at the Strategic level from both sides.

Name should not be a concern of anybody.until forum rules are not violated.

mention of rules coming from someone named Trump is beyond Ironic (google the meaning of ironic, it does not mean having iron in any metaphorical way)

There is no "ground invasion" of Bahrain. It sits across the Persian Gulf and Iran has no navy/expeditionary capability. Iran's best bet would be to harass and damage US forces if they were to take over Kharg island. Otherwise, how would Iran keep its forces supplied if they occupied Kuwait?

Don't think its their strategy either.
ok how about sabotage missions inside the gulf states by iranian special forces or sleeping cells?

There is no tilt towards India. It's an imaginary idea that exists in Pakistan only, due to your obsession with that particular country.

Iran had a 10-year deal with India to develop Chabahar, signed by a treasonous c*nt called Rohani in 2015, which fortunately ended in 2025 and was not renewed.

Besides that, Iran had amicable relations with India before Modi came to power. Pakistan had stable relations with India in that period too. Both countries wanted to create a joint pipeline ("Peace Pipeline", also known as IPI). Modi has been a huge set back for India.

Whatever you said about KSA-Pakistan relations, also applies to Iran-India relations. Iran has never been hostile to Pakistan. Iran also has been very consistent on the issue of Kashmir. Probably one of the few Muslim countries in the world that has done that.
