Iran today gets crushed. We will have screwed up borders east and west. In out own interests we dont want Iran to fold IMOand will put drippling sanction on Pakistan, remember last time Pakistan tried to help them they sold us out. so no thanks. we are nothing taking another one for the team. Iran is a big boy it can handle itself.
I can not imagine this happeningThis is going to the brink, but that is what very high level negotiations are like, both US and Iran know this is not worth the price now.
My guess is a very last minute deal.
The alternative is too horrific to imagine, and the thought of Saudi and PAF jets bombing Iran along with US and Israel truly sickens me to the pit of my stomach
Nothing to do with Pakistan specifically. Mediation efforts of Turkey and Egypt have been rejected by Iran as well.you seem to be getting some sort of sadistic pleasure in watching any failure/blockage/defeat/problem for Pakistan
Isn’t this the exact pretext they attacked Iran , to protect Israel ?Under these circumstances Pakistan should threaten Israel with Nukes and carry out if necessary
dont worry when and if its our turn we will use them as needed, but not for anyone else. period.but this is self preservation because after Iran its Pakistans Turn
Now the users here who disagreed with me on my comment about the difference between the Pakistani system and the Pakistani people can see I was not wrong.
Saudi Arabia is a belligerent in this war. They are constantly pushing Trump to finish Iran, and you can see whose side Shahbaz Sharif is on.
Exactly.
If Saudi Arabia demands from Pakistan to attack Iran our response should be exactly like what NATO told US.
That pact is a defensive pact not offensive pact. Presence of US bases in Saudi Arabia amounts to offence and aggression.
We know quite well that the people of Pakistan, at least an overwhelming majority of them, support Iran in this war and we appreciate it.Shahbaz Shareef and his boss Asim Muneer do not represent the will of the citizens of Pakistan. Both were rejected by the citizens in the last general elections. I hope and pray the Iranians will understand this and do not take these usurpurs utterance as some sort of stamp of authority which has got Pakistani citizens backing behind it.
Wonderful post , cheers.3 possibilities:
In first 2 cases, yes, maybe we can talk about betrayals and other moral responsibilities.
- Trump is bluffing, in which case, yes, betrayal in form of a deal would be bad
- Trump is not bluffing, but Iran has some plan to push back or cause collateral damage in such a way that US has to retreat. Fine, no need for a betrayal either.
- Trump is not bluffing and Iran has no workable plan to deal with the consequences.
In the 3rd case however, I would hope someone like Pakistan can convince Iran to back out in a way that keeps Iran's survival for a better future to come, maybe once US empire completes its natural time.
I'm not saying which ones of these outcomes will happen. I'm just saying that Just, just in case of the 3rd outcome, a deal in works might be better than nothing.
Remember Gaza, morality and principles, etc, unfortunately, unfortunately, do not always matter if there is no way out of a bad situation. Its always better to have some remote way out, even if it feels like a defeat.

Hence we are trying our level best to make sure Iran survives to fight another day,Iran today gets crushed. We will have screwed up borders east and west. In out own interests we dont want Iran to fold IMO
