just hogwash. If 1000s of airstrikes have not deterred Iran, NATO cannot do anything on top of that. They cannot open Harmuz, and the UK public will be against it.

Any forceful try to open SoH will bring Houthis in the war, meaning more and more missiles will launch towards ships, and all it takes is one right hot to sunk or halt the traffic, plus there are mines... rather than sucking up to Trump and BIBI maybe EU for once grow a pair and stand up to their values.

I am intrigued to see what Starmer and his coalition or that NATO general and his coalition can do that the might of the US and Israel couldnt do.

SOH has no military solution, drop the sanctions pay reasonable reparations and traffic moves freely, I think that is fair.

Good post.
Indeed, the skeptics of the ceasefire are missing why this ceasefire is even being happening. It is a far cry from the 'unconditional surrender' and for some good reasons. It is not even about the Americans/Israelis 'regrouping' because as they would regroup, so will Iran.
Trump wants out. And I believe if he can prevail upon Netanyahu over Lebanon then we will have a lasting peace where Iran is going to come out ahead.

Depends also which nations are there. If it's just france and GB you can forget the idea, if they build a coalition only with Arabs, that can be dismissed as inefficient as well.

If they want to have a real coalition, it would have to involve almost all of Europe major fleets (France, UK, Germany, Italy, spain, poland) + possibly India + UAE + saudis
 
The peace will last untill the pipeline is made that flows GCC oil through Israel.
