Iran - Israel/US War: Israel-US declare war on Iran, Iran responds

From the same source link:

The draft Trump has shared is not vastly different to the one that has been circulating across the Middle East for days, under which the strait of Hormuz would be opened to commercial shipping, the US blockade of Iranian ports would be lifted and Iran would be given access to as much as $12bn (£9bn) in frozen assets.

The aim would be for commercial shipping in the strait to return to pre-war levels within 30 days and for negotiations envisaged to last as long as 60 days to commence on the future of Iran’s nuclear programme. This would include discussions about its stockpile of highly enriched uranium, a time-limited suspension of further enrichment and supervision by the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), the UN’s nuclear watchdog. Iran would renounce the use of nuclear weapons.

... ...

The current scope of the agreement would be deeply unpalatable for Israel, because it defers Iran making any firm nuclear commitments and requires a permanent ceasefire to include Lebanon.
Looks like naval blockade proved more effective than even the bombing compaign.

A nuclear program under watch with HEU dissolved and much of nuclear infrastructure gone, is great win for Trump at the cost of us poor third world countries suffering through severe inflation.

Only thing the war did is exposed limitations of US military hard power and it has risen the geopolitical status of Iran many times over. It has also proved that Iran is not a walkover as US had thought previously.

As far as nuclear program is concerned, remember the Fatwa, Iran had no nuclear weapon program to begin with. So Iran lost nothing. Iran will only gain with sanctions relief and potentially assets unfrozen.

Nethanyahu-Trump's number one objectives of war were regime change and eliminating ballistic missile capability. They lost badly. Anyone can see this.

Having said that, Iran did lost a lot of military systems / infrastructure during the war too but its nothing that they cannot rebuild quickly. They will make more and better learning from the experiences of this war.

I don't think so. He was desperate for someone, anyone to bail him out.

Demanding GCC Countries and Pakistan Sign Abraham Accords and Not Getting A Positive Response Is Definitely Going To Put These Countries In Trump's Bad Books He Has Put Everyone In Economic Misery For The Past Two Months and Lost Massive Political Capital With Nothing To Show For.Maybe Not Immediately But Down The Lane Trump Is Going To Get Retribution In Some Way Or The Other Being The Petty Man That He Is

I wasn't for this war but to say US lost is delusional when right now they control Iran's fate. Also once again the US fought this war with one arm tied behind its back it didn't go all out when it could.

Iran is folded up from across the middle east quite effectively.

Against any other country, Iran would have effectively choked the world trade through Red Sea and Hormuz. But US is the different beast.
They first neutralized Houthi threat and then came for Iran with great resolve.

Boi you smoking some strong stuff!
The negotiations are not even for nuclear program right now... they're for opening the straits that WERE open before zion pulled strings on the orange clown...

IT DOES NOT GET MORE EMBARRASSING THAN THAT!

Besides the fact that you talk way over your head. Iran has paid negligible cost compared to what orange has put US finances through... it is yet another gamble after his tariffs gambit that didn't pay... however this was for zion... the parasite!

Democracy only works in homogenous, prosperous and educated societies.

In a multi ethnic state - it is a lethal system that accentuates sectarian divides - as voters inevitably vote along sectarian lines.

In an illiterate and poor society - democracy becomes a tool to exploit the gullible. Because the illiterates do not respect plurality of thoughts and ideas.

Iran has the best system given its ethnic makeup.

China has the best system given its Confucian culture that is rooted in meritocracy. One thing democracy is not - is meritocratic.

A Trump like figure would never rise to the top in China.
Damn, so much truth in this sport, people don't wanna give it the likes it deserves.

America has democratic style dictstorhip today- that's the harsh truth. Real democracy is a construct in US that many naively believe, mainly to feel better about their country and keep their outsized egos satiated.

This is not a discussion about power structures... however the word largely used for democracy is a misnomer ... the gullible play and lose every single time... like a addict on drugs or lottery. Can't see past the high or the odds... keep chasing the high... or feel they still have a chance. Remain invested and that is the hook!

Ones playing them keep changing the narrative and gullible keep chasing... keep making sense of it... keep following the rules that makers keep breaking. It is perfect for those who want to stay engaged and useless for those who see past it. Besides, Iran and China don't seek to rule others... US has an empire to keep while keeping the mirage running and kids signing up for wars thousands of miles away in whatever way they reconcile with their deployment.

Stop posting rubbish

They carried out the most intense air campaign since the Iraq invasion and it ended in total failure not a single objective met.

This war exposed limitation of airpower. Baring tactical nukes your not taking out a missile city.

Ironically Iran controls the US fate in the region now they found a good way to retaliate against US, hit those easy targets in the arab countries. US will need to look to reduce bases or consolidate them in Israel/ Jordan.

This wars been a catastrophic failure for the US, only thing you could credit trump for is he didn't commit ground troops and turn them into a meat grinder like in Ukraine.
