A little offtopic but the fears the Israeli Amb. to the UN is saying is going to be applied across many international borders by states, non state actors, and even by drug mafias, and Pakistan too would face such potent threats from across its borders.

I am all for striking US assets but blowing up Kuwait airport may be an own goal for Iran., They have global sympathy. They could have killed many innocents. Granted it is a dual use military/civilian airport

As far as comparative damage is concerned, then I'd say Iran did far less damage to Israel then vice versa. But for about 40-days the residents of Tel Aviv were forced to hide in bunkers and there was much more damage to the Israeli economy, its tourism potentials, and its destination as a 'startup nation'. Global 'capital' is very 'risk averse'. On top of such factors, which many countries would face if they were in the Israeli boots, Israel has additional imperative/burden of asking people to move to Israel as part of Aaliyah but for the last 2-3 years, it has become a reverse Aaliyah.

As Chas Freeman recently said, if Israel continues on its current path then Israel is doomed. And I greatly respect Chas Freeman views.

The Pier was supposed to be a conduit to force 2 million Palestinians onto some boats for 'ethnic cleansing' of Gaza. And so are the ridiculous theories around the Ceasefire announced in early April about this war: The Americans and the Israelis doing so to regroup. No, the Americans and the Israelis were constantly well supplied and were at a safe distance from the Iranian attacks. And that the Israelis didn't want the Ceasefire. Add in the botched Isfahan Raid.
People have forgotten basic 'logistics', basic connecting the dots.

Yes, many here during the recent Israel-Gaza war and even so-called mighty anti-war like George Galloway were parroting that the Gaza Pier was to ethnically cleanse Gaza of the Gazans! OMG! Basic logistics under intense Hamas fire would be enough to preclude that possibility!! Two Million Gazans evacuated through the Pier!!
