Convince me why the USAF needs to be based in the PG countries.

The Air Force is flying missions all the way from CONUS and back. The Navy and Marines can operate from well outside the range of Iranian missiles.

With the tanker assets held, tactical strike packages can fly in from anywhere as has been demonstrated over and over again. The result of this has allowed assets flying from Europe to strike targets all over Iran up to and including the Pakistan border.

I seem to recall the strikes of June 2025 had significant negative impact on Iran's nuclear program. Not the other way around.

I guess aviation fuel grows on trees!

I was hoping and even praying Modi wouldn't go to the funeral: For far too long, Indians have gotten away with their hypocritical policies in Middle East and the Islamic World in general. Modi is removing that mask. Good. Especially good for Pakistan!
