Iran - Israel/US War: Israel-US declare war on Iran, Iran responds

Removal of US sanctions require congressional approval which is impossible

Anything is possible. The removal was to be negotiated. The relief was indeed provided due to the MoU.

This is the most absurd logic I've heard. So Iran is acting like America and forcing their will on Oman how they can use their waterways ? The goodwill is eroding fast because of these antics. Iran expect others to respect their sovereignty while themselves giving F All.

Was any of this ever about moral arguments, notwithstanding either side's cheerleaders' fantastical claims? The Strait is Iran's bargaining chip and it will keep it as such as much as it can and as long as it can. The extent of how much it can without jeopardizing what it has achieved is another question.

To hell with goodwill. You think Iran needs goodwill of a few fake tribal statelets? Go do something about it?

Lol. Iran needs all that it can get. The past decades culminating in the past months show it very clearly.

I mean, if these EU navies are smart enough to gather all their key naval forces and ships into the SOH and Iran locked them in there and destroyed them, that would probably reduce the chance of the ukraine war escalating.

Pray do tell how Iran would achieve that? Then also let us know what the West's response would be to it?

Iran "wins" by keeping the US engagement envelope small, unless you desire a win the likes of Iraq or Afghanistan.

The relief was there for countries to fill up their strategic reserves with cheap oil.

Relief is relief. That committment was kept.

What each country used the relief for was up to each of them, and irrelevant to the MoU.

Lack of deterrence. That's our problem.
All thanks to that stupid fitwa against nuclear weapons.
Agree, but I think this "deterrence" concept has proven flawed and needs to be retired. Looking back at the last 25-30 years, I cannot see who got deterred where. We are moving into a nasty new world where there will lots of low-intensity conflict using cheap , remote controlled weapons, occasionally cycling into high-intensity conflict before calming back down.

Even nuke weapons are not the deterrent they once were with this focus on low-intensity conflict and combining it with punitive economic measures, tech blockades, propaganda, support for internal insurgencies.

I do understand where you are coming from with your posts.

All I keep hearing is that Iran needs to make real concessions such as opening Hormuz and allowing ships to pass freely while the US just has to make vague promises of future negotiations because "anything is possible."

Iran must adopt the mad dog doctrine and start hitting countries not directly involved in the war such as East Europe

They are responsible for the death of millions of Iranians, for how much more time will they stay unpunished after all they did against Iran?

All I can say on this is that if Pakistan did not have nuclear weapons, there would be many more bloody India-Pakistan conflicts with outcomes similar to that of the annexation of East Pakistan in 1971.

Iran paid the price for nukes by a factor of 10 or more, but didn't acquire them at the end.

There will not be peace in the region until colonial influence is fully eliminated. Dissolution of artificial colonial constructs including Kuwait, Bahrain, UAE and house of Saud will be the leading indicator.

Exactly but this will turn the regional counties more hostile towards Iran than they already are, KSA so far has been patience due to Pakistan's request to not engage in offensive operations against Iran, but if Qatar ships are not safe, and Iran just keep bombing the neighbors then who wins? Israel is safe, they are just chilling, they have the money to recover from whatever damage Hez or Iran did to them, as soon as peace returns investments and bail out money will rush into Israel's economy via EU/America, but where does that leave Iran? they are being bombed at will and a constant threat looms over their heads, most if not all their bases are either hit or completely destroyed, their attacks have significantly weaken so rather than reacting like hitting 3 ships, maybe just maybe lower the heat a notch.

Regional economies going down, to bring down the global economy, with significant consequences for the American economy is not a small lever Iran has. Even Israel is not immune from economic shock if/when the Yemenis start choking the Red Sea route.

It is very difficult to say where will this war end. A 'frozen conflict' or a repeat of what was done to Saddam regime from early 90s, culminating in the 2003 war. It is hard for the West to lose the Middle East: I think in Trump's second term alone, he got 3 trillion Dollars worth of promised investment in weapons/trade from various Arab countries. And as long as Trump and Netanyahu sit in their respective offices as contemporaries leaders, nothing can be ruled out.

Yes, the nukes have prevented all out wars between India and Pakistan but do note that between 1971 and 1998, there was no overt India Pakistan war and that's because unlike in the East Pakistan, the West Pakistan / current Pakistan has never lost to India.
Anyway, it is off topic but not only you but some others above think that Pakistan's strength against India is because of the nukes.

AES 256 is not white noise, it's well distinguishable binary digital modulated data, but unabled to unencrypt.
Brother, I have used this term to make it simple for people to understand on our forum, if you make things overly technical you lose your target audience. Interesting that this is the only thing you have feedback on.

Typical PDF posters, just nitpicking like old aunties and retired uncles.
