"defensive" only in name. They work with America in launching unprovoked attacks like on Libya which led to Qaddafi's regime ending. More examples of that. By even providing the bases and more in Europe to launch attacks on Gaza or Iran and elsewhere, NATO countries are totally involved. May not be 'officially' but they are and when any of them decides not to be part of those attacks--like Spain just did--then we see how they are treated.
Europeans are opportunist slaves of America and cowardly too.

Your military wasn't capable enough to save critical Infra. There was no conventional victory. Reformists were gonna get billions of dollar unsanctioned and were actively working for the sanctions to be removed so Iran can start exporting oil to whole world and be prosper once again. Reformists were able to reign in Israel in Lebanon too to some extent. America and Iran were not reneging on their promises and MoU were almost being upheld.

And then Iran let all of it go by attacking ships transiting through Oman by extremist elements in Iran who can't see reformists win? When Iran Attacked the ships in Omani waters, what deal Americans were breaking that Iran had to punish them? It was not written in MoU that Iran can control Omani waters.

Was it worth letting billions of sanctioned iranian money go? was it not worth getting off the sanctions hook finally and make Iran great again with Oil and gas and rebuilding Iran?

Is it worth it now that extremists has finally won by attacking civilian ships and had sidelined Ghalibaf and Agarchi and President?

Looking at how many times Iran has been targeted over the last several years-you know, Suleimani, the attacks on nuclear plants, assassinations of scientists--it doesn't appear like Iran has the capability to face a Superpower. Iran has not even been able to do the required deterrent damage to Israel. The recent ceasefire was maybe a dire requirement/necessity for Iran itself to replenish. And the hostilities going on are happening too soon for the attacking forces to be replenished like before the Feb. 28th attack started. And the global oil reserves can't be sufficiently replenished in such a short period of ceasefire and so the Trumpian 'Herbert Hoover' threat probably still remains.

As long as both Trump and Netanyahu remain in their respective offices, we should expect at least low level conflict against Iran to continue. Remove one of them from the equation, I see a quick draw down.

Right now Israel is outside of the tit for tat retaliatory strikes. And that is IMO for two reasons,
One It is because Irán did much more damage than recognized by Israel (you have a hint in Haifa port, where damage was more extense and even some warships were hit).
And second Netanyahu have always highlighted that they are out of any agreement.
So if he doesn't attack It is because some deterrence has been reach by Irán.
And finally, don't forget that Irán still have the nuclear key at their hands. So if there is a low intensity strikes for years, Islamic Republic will finally pull out from the NPT and develop nuclear weapons.
But that is just my oppinion.
The reality is unquestionable, this situation is unsustainable. Let's see how evolve.

The Samson Option is so over-rated--as much as it is unlikely. There is no achievment in self immolation. Poor countries like Pakistan, North Korea, and India can also turn large parts of the world 'uninhabitable'.
Israel maybe a very good technological power and this maybe 'the 21st century' but human beings are essentially the same pre-historic beasts where force, power, endurance, fortitude can prevail over the nano-chips: Israel needs massive American help just to fight a militia like Hezbollah.

I reckon Israel is more likely to assassinate Trump to implicate Iran for this to get USA reprisal attacks on Iran, as that serves its interests, than Iran will who lack the capability to do so.

There is long distance between Iran and Israel for the missiles to travel through and a gauntlet of air defenses to traverse through. Sadly, Israel has not suffered enough damage to not want a continuation of this war.

First of all, the correct term to refer to the citizens of Iran in English is Iranian.

And yes, the US was supposed to release 6 billion dollars of our frozen funds. First, they talked about 24 billion dollars, then they said it would be 12 billion dollars at first, 12 billion dollars after we have done our commitments in the MoU. But they didn't even release 6 billion USD. As for the "Supreme Leader of Iran", i.e. the young guy that hasn't been seen in public yet, he said that his opinion was different from the negotiators but decided to give them a chance.

And secondly, yes, we have zero trust on our own negotiators because we are clearly seeing the results of the ceasefire and this MoU.
