Iran - Israel/US War: Israel-US declare war on Iran, Iran responds

Iran must have nukes, no question on that. These new strikes could be US frustration at stalled peace talks, I doubt it will yield any different long term result.
Not allowed.

As Donald Trump said yesterday, Iranian (leadership) are a sick people. If they had nukes, they would just go around threatening the whole world with it especially it's neighbours.

Right.
There is long distance between Iran and Israel for the missiles to travel through and a gauntlet of air defenses to traverse through. Sadly, Israel has not suffered enough damage to not want a continuation of this war.

I mean Trump barely stopped Netanyahu going gung-ho on Lebanon. If they had suffered enough damage at the hands of Iran, wouldn't campaign of lebanon slowed down? Logic and commonsense needs to be applied before making a claim.

Hezbollah did more damage to Israel Military in terms of optic than Iran did and people need to realize that.

This could've been avoided if we had nukes 30 years ago. This is the legacy of Khamenei, one of the worst leaders in our history going back thousands of years.
The Islamic Republic is an insult to Iranian history, Khamenei most of all. Imagine there are ignorant people here who compare him with Cyrus the Great on this thread. That's a great insult to our history.

30 years of isolation, trillions of dollars wasted in R&D, sanctions and war, and nothing to show for any of this.

With respect to our Iranian friends here: Iran doesn't seem like it has even a unified chain of commands which even poor countries like Pakistan and India have. A religious leader calling the ultimate shots, the 'reformists' and the IIGC 'hard liners'. All in the mix. I know there is the Supreme Council but from what I have seen, actions have been made by one entity and denied by another. Iran needs to fix that. Fighting a Superpower is hard enough.

That's also a legacy of the late Khamenei. Years of his work led to this structure, all for each person to put the blame on the other one instead of accepting responsibility.

First of all, the correct term to refer to the citizens of Iran in English is Iranian.

And yes, the US was supposed to release 6 billion dollars of our frozen funds. First, they talked about 24 billion dollars, then they said it would be 12 billion dollars at first, 12 billion dollars after we have done our commitments in the MoU. But they didn't even release 6 billion USD. As for the "Supreme Leader of Iran", i.e. the young guy that hasn't been seen in public yet, he said that his opinion was different from the negotiators but decided to give them a chance.

And secondly, yes, we have zero trust on our own negotiators because we are clearly seeing the results of the ceasefire and this MoU.

Releasing billions of dollars when Iran is heavily sanctioned takes time. Do you believe it is easy to just stuff billions of dollar in suitcase and hand it iran as soon as MoU was implemented? Iran is in FATF black list. Do you know what it means ?

There is a reason Iranian team was in Doha to work out the technical details how the funds would get released and transferred .

Iranian teams handling money negotiations knows all the facts on ground, hence you havent heard the accusations from Leadership that we are not getting our money back and that it is all a farce.

And what Iran did during the negotiation phase ? They attacked ships in Omani waters. Can you point out where it is written in MoU that Iran can do that?

That's not unprecedented. Obama sent an airplane full of cash in pallets. It can be done in 72 hours.

There is no reason for the Iranian team to be in Doha when the US is in the hot phase of war with Iran and has on multiple occasions publicly talked about kidnapping our diplomats or killing them before they return to Iran.

It isn't an accusation, there has been no release of money. It's a fact.

Iran was under no obligation to respect this MoU when the US had already failed to honor their end of the agreement.

And Iran was delisted from FATF black-list in 2016. The same year Obama send pallets of Cash. I guess you forgot to mention this point. We can go in circles arguing about this but neither of us are experts. The Iranian experts who were in Doha knows more than you and me and they never raised doubts on the process and I'll remain stick to this.

Rest of your posts are your personal opinions and we'd go off-topic very quickly if I reply to each point. I can argue why the need of funeral processions if "Iran is in hot war phase" and we'd go back and forth. Let's agree to disagree
